    Thanks Champo!

It is greatly appreciated, although you can never have too many bikes. Oh and I’m in the $50m Oz Lotto draw tonight and if I win I will definetly be adding to my collection.

Too bad you didn’t win MrsD, you could have bought us all a new bike with that much.

Luckily Ballards have billet levers for $40

Friggin’ hell, and the KTM non billet one is $110, maybe Ballards are giving them away at close to cost, it shows how much KTM make on the parts, that lever probably only costs them $20 to make!
BMW are just as bad I think.
And they say we a destroying the after market buy purchasing parts online and fron OS, what to they expect when they do sh!t like this?

    How much is too much?

    Tried the wreckers?
They are all online now I believe, you should get an answer in a couple of days.

How bad is it? It might just need an oil change (less than $100), that can make a big difference you know if the shock can be serviced.

If it still moves and is not leaking I’d give that a go.

    Fark! That’s a nasty break.
And a lot of metal in there.
You’ll be keeping them guessing at the airport with the metal detector :)

Waste of time I think, unless the electricity comes from a fuel cell.

Actually, the record was broken in the ’60s

Whoa! What the hell was the dude thinking. Now he’s one crazy mofo’!

Have you seen the movie “The Worlds Fastest Indian”?
When he busted the record the bike was over 40 years old!
They all laughed at him until they saw him ride it.
    He was a mechanical genius.
The bike is owned by some people who live near Bonneville and it has never been pulled apart since so no-one knows how he made it go so fast.

Get the movie, it’s a good one.

If the foam seal breaks down, can it be repaired with silastic or something similar?

No, I tried that, didn’t work

I wear specs too and tried the double lenses, pretty good but didn’t last all that long until the foam seal broke down and water got inbetween, once that happens they’re stuffed.
When it’s foggy I use industrial safety glasses over my glasses, they have good ventilation so they clear up in seconds

What model MSC is it bud, I have a MSC but need to know what model yours is as there are some different settings and adjustments

(lucky you got that much help out of them)

Um it’s the one for the BMW G450X, they didn’t mention any options.
He did say it has 3 ‘mode’ settings, like A – tight trails, B – motocross and C – desert race.
then there’s the damping adjustment which is a separate knob.

Yeah I know, sorry Trent the weather pissed me off, I hate riding in rain with numb fingers and unable to control the bike properly.
Living close to the ride area I thought it was going to be a real bad day to ride, at least it was at my place.

I have seen some nasty weather in the Watagan hills before coming from the East, it can really blow in and up the hills.
Had no cantact numbers to let you know.

    Next time for sure.

No matter what I use I’d rather let it cure and unfortunately I have to go out to dinner tonight to keep the boss happy enough to let me ride so it wont happen tonight. Funny thing was for the last couple of nights I’ve asked my in-laws if any parcels have come and they said no so I’d even gone back to the bloke on ebay to check he sent them then when I went out into the shed and saw them sitting on my bike I just had to shake my head :pinch:

    The boss?
She looks pretty happy in the photo there under your name
