Sounds like a great little project for you and the lad.
88 really isnt that old either, should be a good thing when she’s fixed up.Gotta love free stuff…Especially motorbikes.
She turned up a few minutes after we had come out of some s/trail, so she didnt actually see us in there, but our tracks were fresh…
But one of our mates was still stuck in there and he come riding out while she was talking to us…..
Was very funny, as he pulled up we all said to him” who the f*#k are you”.. :laugh:She actually had a laugh to her credit and just gave us a big lecture…
Did i ROOT her??? ….Probably would’ve… :woohoo:
Mark Webber’s nanny state comment was spot on.
I farken hate ciggies(reformed smoker), but i couldn’t give a rats ass if ya wanna smoke em, just dont smoke em round me.
Got pulled up by some DSE bitch last w/end and told “ya cant ride here, ya cant ride there”….shove ya nanny state up ya ass bitch… :angry:SOLD

Beside you try riding with a compound fracture in the foot.
And why dont you tell everyone how i had to tell you enough is enough when i wanted me bike back and you wanted to keep riding it. I wont repeat all the glowing comments you made about the DRZ.
LOL, compound fracture??? I reckon Stoney had more drama’s with that scratch on his nose…

It’s biggest issue for me was I came right off a predictable reasonably grippy 736R to a 952R and was chalk and cheese, I’ll be blunt the MX-retread with a 736 carcass I’m running ATM is far more predictable, even if it does throw random knobs into the undergrowth, at least when i bought I went in with my eyes wide open expecting little.
I loved dunlops in the 7 series, but the 952 I gave away and will never ever recommend for a hard hitting 2T, and has even made me wary of Dunlop altogether.

LOL, ya not the first to bag the 952, and certainly wont be the last….
But its served me so well, and for so long.
Like i said, i have a pair of 756’s in the shed, but a mate has been running the new Geomax’s(756 replacement) and the rear is losing knobs fast, and we ride mostly in sand(Paddys, Anglesea), his tyre is no more than 10 rides old, and its making my old 952 look good on wet slippery hills. Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.
I’m a massive rap for the Dunny 952(rear).
I fitted one on my KX May 1st last year and its still on there, 1700k’s later.
Raced on it twice last year, one of them was the mudiest race/ride i’ve ever done(Monza, Ballarat, avatar photo), and it perfomed excellently for an intermediate.
Although its showing its age now, it still amazes me how well it performs for a tyre 12 months old with that many k’s.
for example, rode Elaine here in Vic on the weekend and was very wet, and it still climbs with ample grip.
I have a new set of 756’s in the shed ready to go on, but i think i’ll swap the rear for a 952.
S12 on the front has done well, but i’ll give the 756 a go this time.Bummer!!!
They are a good bike, and this one is no exception.
I have successfully used long pointy nosed plyers in opposite holes with a screw driver in between to undo, quite easy.
Just make sure the top tripple clamp is lose…..Your right Mick thats where i saw it.
Berwick is around 2 hours from Geelong, worth the drive though, I frequently ride over that side as well, he’s got some good riding around him…. -
