Here is a number of steps to you should be able to follow.Unfortunatly I am a qualified Engine Recondtioner and forced to work with hundreds of these shims every week so I will make it simple because it is.
Measure clearance with feeler guage
Write clearances and which valve on paper
Remove T/Chain tensioner, stuff a rag down front of engine so you don’t drop bits down there (if you do its all over)
Remove cam gears and cams
remove shims and bucket with a magnet, keep them in order
measure with digital vernier or micrometer, write sizes next to clearances
You should be able to do the math from here
You will need your bike manual to know how to reset timing chain tensioner and timing marks on cam gears with engine on top dead centre
A magnet to pick up shims buy from Repco or an auto shop
a set of digital verniers from auto shop $30 – $200
a set of feeler guages, talk to Ballards or auto shop
