How on earth have you lasted this long Boony? To have her just sitting there enticing you to just take her out and get dirty.

Be like going on honeymoon and just sitting there staring at each other naked the whole time and that’s all……….

My 640 sustained less damage when my bro cartwheeled it, was kind a showing off in front of his step son.

Monoing, changing gears, rear wheel hit a small bump he formed for part of the young fella’s mini mx track.

    I wasn’t there, apparently k8ii did a double sumersault with 3 n 1/2 twist salto tuck  :p

Hmmm what sort of $ Ev? I’d rather buy a well used bike from an honest owner than something that is talked up to be the best thing since wheels that is too good to be true.

I think most here buy local as much as we can, however I’m sure by the same token we have all bought something from an OS store when either too good to pass up or was more readily available.

Sadly we at times have to buy cheaper imported gear. Otherwise it would become unaffordable to ride as often as we need.

Some have used Mr cycles. Mostly for older bikes though.

I have sourced bearings from a US store for the rear linkage at a quarter of the price including postage for ‘oem’ bearings here in Aus.

    Thanks fellas. Much appreciated!! ;)

He is taking it to broadford this weekend to see if he can sell it at a bit more than the $895 he has it on eBay for.

    I do love the 640!

However with my ride experience / ability on hills something a little lighter may help.

Or I just need to move closer to where all he action is and practice, practice and some more practice.

Or at least get some more saddle time in some hills.

Text the missus to see if she ‘could grab us a HD snatch strap while out shopping’.

When she got home I asked if she could find what I wanted. To which she replied that it took some working out what I wanted but after some thinking she found the best one at the right price.

When I asked to see it, with a cheeky grin she dropped her skirt to reveal a Harley Davidson G string.

I’ve seen a tin of this, not in pristine condition like yours. Didn’t, realise it was still available.

I use the Nos stuff from the fridge at the servo. ;)
