as for carbs. you prob want more complex carbs than spuds. go pasta, rice, sweet potato.

look up what body builders eat, and when they do. as there is an ex pro who reckons you eat the opposite to what a body builder does and it all but eliminates arm pump.

i haven’t looked into it’s merits though.

a correct rated spring for the rear shouldn’t be that expensive. and you should be able to fit it your self.

but if it’s an older shock or if you have done a bit of riding it may be worth saving up the extra $$ to have it overhauled and the valving looked at, at the same time.

sorry to nit pick Moto, but LC4’s don’t run split engine oil and gear box oil.

the engine you refer to is the XC4 that superseded the RFS engines.

granted i am not up with the Husky not upholding their warranty.

however did any of the owners that had trouble with warranty issues modify their bike in any way shape or form?

even just taking the snorkel off the top of the air box if not done by the shop with approval from HQ as an acceptable mod would void the warranty.

sad to say that is how far they will go to avoid warranty claims.

if it is not an OEM approved part that is fitted or removing of one voids the warranty across most fields of machinery, mechanical equipment and vehicles.

fitting an LPG system to a car after market voids all warranty even if it is not related the engine. have an axle failure…… “you have modified the vehicle, therefore the warranty is void”.

the Kato has a higher seat and more ground clearance.
but the tank is 1L smaller.

the husky has 2yr Factory warranty.

i’m a Kato bloke through and through……. but 2yr warranty. is an incentive to consider lessening brand loyalty…

the 350 is touted as having 450 power and performance.

both are EFI. and around the same dry weight.

however the engine oil capacity of only 1L for the Husky if correct figures, is a bit of a put off for me….

North America get a 302cc but we only get a 297cc.. what a rip off!

husky gets a thermo fan factory.. does the Kato?? sorry just x2 checked fan is factory on the NA delivered bike. not the Au one.

anyway that’s my $0.002 worth ATM.
