if you cannot tell someone in a PM who you are or how they would be able to ID you at an event, when they say they “give their word” they will say hello. it seems they do not intend to fulfil said meet and greet.

i understand that someone may not want the whole world to know your ID, but when you say you will talk to someone at an event with 500 riders + others not riding, but do not include how you would recognise someone you have not met before or even to tell you what make and or even capacity mount you will be on.

even if instructed to keep said ID to one’s self for whatever reason… but as there has never been any such inkling even alluded to, it just
