I’d love to have been a fly on the wall for his debrief!

Thinks he knows better than his managers.

To see lowends jump out of his car to help the other driver out of his car on its side just shows what a great bloke he is…….. For Holden driver

I’ve put in my order for a set, but bit more $$ than I anticipated as exchange rate was $0.84

So ended up being a shade under 150. Just hope they arrive in time to get it put together for nundle.

Local shop doesn’t do wheels. They outsource them to another shop…….

I’ll lace it up to the stage where the nipple are just touching the rim.

Interesting thing with the RAD nipples is that they don’t have a slot in the head, they have a hex for a socket.

    Thanks STM.

Do the RAD spoke kits look any good in your opinion?

The ones I’m looking at are s/s with supposed better than oem alloy nipples. Comes to around the $120 mark landed at my door. Going oem chromed steel ones would come in at $200+

Spoke tension changes a little between drive and non drive side but not a lot. If you are tensioning them so that the nipples are hard to turn then you are going too far. They should be tight but not locked up.

    STM

    oh, oops. :S

If the wheel isn’t truing up by the time the nipple goes tight, what do you do?

This is my first …. Well second attempt after replacing nipples the first time.

I’ve managed to get it within 1mm for round, but about 3-4mm out of true.

Just a side note to this,

We are in a farm area with wheat and rice all around.

We see quite a few each season, mum was bitten by a brown a fair few yeas ago ;p

So with that in mind and livestock, she invested in solar snake repelers, the have a spike in the ground and vibrate at intevles. They are supposed to cover a 20-30mtr diameter, she has has the placed around the house and shed to they overlap.

So far we’ve only seen two tracks across the drive, but dad put up a nasty tempered brown in the veggi patch that sounded like the cousin to the one that was at wolfie’s neighbors place.

Just thought they May be of interest, they’re not that expensive considering they may save someone the trauma of a bite or worse.

Warranty claims are fast with tittle fuss from the company they were got from. I’ll chase up their name if anyone’s interested.

If the rear sprocket was any larger it’d look like a buel front brake disc.

Is the plate on the rear for show or is it road reg?

As for the suspension thing, I’d suggest doing front and rear at the same time, I dunno if doing the rear first would upset handling? Nick will have a far greater knowledge of this.
