Many variables may have led to this officer’s actions.

As others asked, were there other bikes in the area? Maybe you were mistaken for another rider that was reported or seen by the officer?

I’ve only personally deelt with one copper with a bad attitude, and I wasn’t doing anything wrong. His attitude may have come from being taken to court on many occasions and had the fines etc thrown out.

However I do not treat all officers as they were the same as that one single plod.

I’ve had a few occasions where I was in the wrong, they were very nice about it all.

Even had one officer stop me from doing a U turn over double lines, he saved me $165 and any points I may have lost.

Anyway guess this wasn’t a good vrs bad experience thread.

As others have said there may have been reasons why the officer acted as he did.

You weren’t on his bike were you? :p :silly:

Good onya eags! Good to hear ( read) ya better half is feeling well enough to say you can go. ;)

So rocket, you were in the couch with the billy lids ferrying food and beverages for you ah? :silly:

Just got back from watching an old bluebird with an FJ20 (I think) turbo engine make 455kw at the rear wheels. Was starting to lean out a little bit with extra boost so they dialed it down to a safe 50psi !

No that’s not a typo, 50psi on e85 fuel. That’s all the info I have on specs apart from all the good gear internally.

And then an FG XR6 turbo run 302kw with just a shade over 1200nm torque all running std. engine internals, turbo. Just an aftermarket blow off valve and few changes to the exhaust.

Would have rather been riding but not a bad waste of a day.

Not much here either rocket, down in Mexico helping a guy shift factories. Moved about 100 pallets of stuff so far. Then there is the AWD dyno and some loose odds and ends.

Longest I’ve had to sit and look at the forums let alone time to reply!

Been around 9 am to midnight or 2 am for a week and a half.

Hope to catch up with menace and jak sometime while I’m here.

Would rather be riding with them. But a feed and a beer is good too!

Nar be no good Mick, he’d have ta change the exhaust/ muffler.. :p

I have no idea without looking at he bike, but as you said if done twin shock wouldnt have to play with the tank and air box. Be worth looking at.

Just twin shocks now is a bit like advising someone to ride a bike with pds :silly: :p
