Hey Teza, been a while since i had a smoker.

how is it for compression, kms, serviced regularly etc.? condition of tube between the airbox-carb-inlet-head?

have you tried running the carb empty before putting her to bed?

carb sucking a small amount of air somewhere, and takes up once it’s run, gasket takes up.

how is it for tolerances on the slide/plunger to carb body?

hope one of those more in the know will point you in the right direction!

when i had an 03 300, told the ktm bloke (no longer works for them:( ) my weight and he recommened a spring for front and rear.

the other shop i got the springs from did not have the size /rate suggested but softer one that was longer, they reckon would do same just tighten it up to pre load it.

being i did a deal when i bought the bike the springs were not all that dear, sorry i do not remember prices. the preferred shop fitted the fronts as i had no idea, again not sure of $ but was not much, i fitted the rear myself.

now it all worked really well for me but light blokes did not like it.

but as Rocket said give the pro’s a ring,

and call the shop you bought it from and see if you can squeeze a deal out of them.

that is if you bought it from a shop. sorry i think i may have you/your bike mixed up with another member that just bought a new 450:blush:

i wasn’t going to mention as i thought all would know anyway.

but i only 3/4 fill any bottle,

freeze it with the lid off until solid= pressure not split bottle,

then put it on when i want to use it.

are they the large blue ones?

i don’t know what brand my mate has, about 4 1/2′ x 2′ x 2′. went camping first time with it they filled it with needed stuff, some block ice and topped up with bags/ cube stuff. only opened it when needed/ not unnecessarily .

kept the bulk cold for the 4-5 days, i’m not sure if they topped it up 2-3 days in with a bag of crushed ice.

if you really want i can ask what brand etc.

i doubt this was any help, but i do try!:woohoo:

hey Rocket i think you may mean techni ice
