We all know those cute little computer symbols called ’emoticons,’ where:

    :) means a smile and

    :( is a frown.

    Sometimes these are represented by

    :-)

    :-(

    Well, how about some ‘ASSICONS?’
    Here goes:

    (_!_) a regular ass

    (__!__) a fat ass

    (!) a tight ass

    (_*_) a sore ass

    {_!_} a swishy ass

(_o_) an ass that’s been around

    (_x_) kiss my ass

    (_X_) leave my ass alone

    (_zzz_) a tired ass

    (_E=mc2_) a smart ass

(_$_) Money coming out of his ass

    (_?_) Dumb Ass

    You have just been e-mooned!

how many of these great little bikes are out there ?

G’day Mate. I’ve got one and I love it!! But don’t tell the wife, she’s already jealous.

Like all bikes, it depends on what you want to do with it but it definately fulfuls my needs. Before the TE I had a WR 426 and I don’t miss the horse power or the weight. It’s a billy goat on the hills and just so much fun to ride.

What sort of riding do you do??

hey kram, have you ridden the TE 250?

just interested in how much difference there is between the two. how much diff the 48cc really make?

i don’t think they’d be able to keep up the production of replacement door mechanisms to the demand for them though!

Get what you’re saying though ;)

    oh well throttle body then:P
    😆 😆
, still have the air cleaner/intake tube to damage.

Mr Blue an i correct in saying that a short header gives more hp/torque in the low rpm range and a long one in the high rpm range?

i’m only assuming that bikes are the same as cars in the respects to exhaust make up affecting the power characteristics ?

I wonder if they’ve tried turning the engine around so that the exhaust exits straight out the back so there’s less exposed for damage and more of a straight through no bends ergo no loss (loud)exhaust. I thought I recalled seeing something like that somewhere…

the only thing wrong with that AB, is if your exhaust it out the back of the head the carb would have to sit out the front, copping all the crud off the front wheel.

if you bend the pipe you can still limp home. damage the carb and it could be a long push home:(

BUT i agree with you on the theory to putting it out the back.

    Hey AB,

my suggestion would be to go through the parts book if you have it, the one with all the exploded views.

see if you can find all the bearings it that and find them on the bike and as you have done inspect them.

but as most are saying it is unlikely to be from inside the engine.

and if it was from a bearing on the bike it would be easy to see where it had come from because something would be really loose or making all sorts of bad noises.

    did you remove the kicker?

the head stem will be a tapered roller so not from there, but that’s obvious:blush:

the only other thought is if someone had used the BB to block off a breather/ vent hose.?

    hope you get it sorted!
