yeah my bro looked at trading a BA sedan on a BA wagon= wanted to put 3rd row in for extra baby.
his had mags on it, the wagon did not.
the price was not great, bro says that the wheels were 1500-2000 to buy. + had spoiler
fitted
salesman= that has no bearing on the trade price.bro= well i’ll fit the stock ones back. keep the mags for wagon
salesman = that will drop your trade price.
go figure:blink:
if there are a few dealers near by, check em all and play them on each other.
yeah i saw you post Smurf, sad to hear, well read!
those injections are “fun”. my old man had a series of them years back.
hope a bit of rest and care dose the trick. not an opp.!!

Quote:Yep if you are seeing this, you are on the real site their is somewhat of a ghost site floating around in cyberspace due to system maintenance at the data centre (that I was not informed about BTW), once all the DNS servers have updated all will be fine and I will merge the 2 databases together so we don’t lose anything, it’s pretty funny actually TB and XY-Transit are on the ghost site probably wondering where everyone is.Cheers
Chris.
.
nar i knew everyone that was not on the forum with me last night was on the updated server setup.
i read Chris’ “weird sheyat going on” tread and knew just like riding,
.
.
.
i was left behind all on my own. lucky TB was riding sweep:unsure:
yeah i Capiche. ( google has made the dictionary redundant:lol: )
i knew how it wold be used if it is to true the wheels;)
i was just unclear how you determined where and how much lead to add to balance em.
just had to ask, as you know i’m a bit slow on the uptake:blush:
ummm,
supid Q? time!:S
how do you balance the wheels with this piece of equipment?
i can see how it would work to lace em up.

Quote:I’m probably taking this off topic a bit but if you click on http://ballards.cc/catalogue-2009 and go to page 31 and the tools start from there.I got home and my bits were there already after only ordering at 3pm yesterday and the invoice is spot on so I’m pretty stoked. I’ll fit the brake pads tomorrow and as long as they fit then I’m laughin I reckon.
 i wouldn’t worry too much AB, your info is more benefit than the squirrel’s!
and this is not the Tech help thread so you have some leeway;)
well i think you do.

why is that?
you could not hold it against me anyway!
‘cos you’re a fury foreigner   ( you have to be a foreigner as we do not have squirrels in this country!)
and your paws are only any good for playing with your nuts:P

AND If you had read the whole thread:huh:
i am doing it to tune my forge!
and once i get the tyre levers right i will have a dedicated set to take away riding.
and i doubt that the local shop would have ballards on the shelf and i doubt i would get them for the aforementioned $32.
cos in italy they have lots of spageti but not enough spice in the meat balls to kick em over:huh:
i reckon you need to sell all the BRPs and invest in a 690 R;)
three mates all kicken back on a friday arvo.
the scott’s man cracks a brand new bottle of fine aged single malt. and says he was putting his 20yr old daughter’s cloths on her bed and found a bottle of scotch, “i didn’t realise she liked a fine scotch like her old man! i’d enjoy having a drink with her and just relaxing. i don’t want her to hide the fact she likes a drink”.
the cuban says the same thing that he found a stash of choice cigars in his daughter’s room, and should not hide that she too enjoys a smoke.
the irishman says that he found condoms in his daughter’s room, and declared he was most shocked,
“i never even knew she even had a penis!”.
yeah just that it’s always had balanced wheels,
so i was unsure .
ok next Q?
how much will locks affect the wheel balance? if at all.
do you tighten them after the tyre is inflated or before?
over the top? of our heads?
nar all good info. next time i fire up the forge i’ll harden AND temper the levers and see how they go.
i tried my old man’s car levers and they are just too thick! and bruised the rear rim. they are not a flat profile, rolled sides ( if that makes any sense ) o==o um looks something like this:blush:
i’ll have some time to get it right as i now have to wait until i get the locks.
