A broken ram mount and damaged pride were the worst of it :blush:

:woohoo: geez go in for a quick knee scraping and I come out and it is on! Car is back from Smash repairers, knee will be right again, what a great thing to do at end of November.

Had the same issue for about 6 months, after the last Nav ridein june I came back cleaned both air filters, new plugs went back to cr9’s with correct gap, new oil filter and oil (put mineral oil in rather than semi-synth) and no smoking now even on start up, has been since June and covered about 750k’s since then and all good I have no air box mods but run a twin air filter and a staintune pipe with standard carb.
The oil I removed smelt a bit of fuel so had all sorts of concerns re rings valves etc but it seems going back to the basics fixed the problem with no loss of power.

Thanks Trailrider but as soon as I mentioned that I may have to pull out of the ride to the leader of the opposition, that weekend was snapped up faster than a speeding DR!

Thanks Guys, timing is the issue thats why I was driving up and not riding.
Friday is not too bad was gunna be out of Lilyfield by 2 ish but need to be back for Work monday morning early (work in a bakery) so was gunna be a finish sunday and quick run back to sydney and do not want to put that on anyone else.
Thanks for the offers but have now resigned myself to this.

TB could you please take my name off the list 👿 had a numpty run up the back of my car a few weeks ago and it will not be repaired by the time this comes around. If i had more time I would ride up but am limited there as well!
I have rooms for both nights if anyone is interested but I will be cancelling them This Wednesday to give them as much notice as possible, if anyone wants one of the rooms please PM me.
Hope the ride is as good as the last one and am now looking forward to the next one, is there a thread for this one yet??? :whistle:
