Nice work guys, would love to put money on one but I need to ride it first. Can’t wait till the end of the year…
They sure are nice, interested in the DCT as well.
I hate getting the first version of anything, really not sure if I can hold out for another year though.Had some big nights at the Jungle Bar (Cape Trib) in the mid 90’s, loved that place until they bought in rules, damn rules. It used to go until daylight depending on how many were there. You could also buy as many roadies as you could carry and everyone would end up down the beach afterwards. Half the fun was getting to the beach in complete darkness through the rainforest with an arm-full of beer, drunk and most likely stoned too.
Surprised NSW still has fans after the last 8 years???
I agree, this is awesome.
On the bucket list….I honestly beleive that the kids up this way are just too lazy and would prefer to be drinking piss or smoking cones.
I work for fairly large O&G service company and my younger guys (21/22 year old tradesmen) start on approx $85k plus offshore allowance of about $150/day + paid day off for each day they are away. Good money in anyone’s language really.
I’ve had them call up telling me they’ve got a sore toe to can’t come in because they drank too much the night before. WTF!!
Now, here’s the problem..HR have to get involved whenever there is a problem with staff. These guys know it, know the system and how it works. Its just too hard to sack them as HR are too afraid in case Fair Work Aust gets involved and brings the company name into disrepute. So we have to continue to put up with idiots, admittedly they are given the sh!t jobs in the hope that they quit.
Currently we are getting most of our new recruit’s from Perth as graduate engineers in the hope of finding better quality. Seems to be working so far except they don’t know what a shifter is, so you have to start from scratch with them. Biggest problem I have is keeping them insulated from some of the older guys that like to fill their heads with crap, let them know their rights etc.
I think the govt and the parents are the ones to blame, bring back the cane in schools. Place turned to sh!t when they took that away..Heard a good one the other day.
Hungry?
“I could eat the back wheel off a menstrual cycle”…Another torque/ grunt one,
“Wouldn’t pull a sick kid off a hooker’s tit”That’s great, good times.
The photos look good to, what camera do you use?Dayum, you’ve put some Hrs in by the looks.
That grey looks good though, I’m liking it.Here’s another version, still with the biscuit seat

The concept looks great, but I will believe it when I see one mate

Sort of what I was thinking too TB
They’ll want to do something with that seat alsoBest you get back to those bikes, seems Mick is hanging out to get his hands on that white one. Hanging around in here is only going to hold up progress….
Don’t forget, more pics..Guessing its the same with most bikes then, suspension first and take it from there.
I think I saw on one of your earlier bikes with the Kev mod under the seat, have not seen it since though, hence the reason I asked.
As far as I’m aware the Ten gets its ecu/maps from France where as the 660R gets everything from the usual source. I’m sure I read somewhere the Ten is built/ based in France, you will most likely know I’m sure. Think this is the reason the Kev mod is not as effective as it is with the R due to the different maps. Are you planning on keeping this one for longer than 10K or are you going to keep updating regularly like you have been?
Loving that new color, this one should be a keeper.TrailBoss wrote:Zoro wrote:Looks frikken awesome but I must ask, have you guys down there got some Mchappy plants growing in the spare room or what??
Tenere #4, Porsche race car, GT40/ concept car bodywork…WTF??I’ll have what he’s having thanks..
You mob win the lotto or something??
The Porsche is one of Lefty’s customers race cars, the body work is a customers radical race car. Its a fun play area

Looks like it, perfect for what you’re doing with the Ten’s too.
Being #4, is there anything you’re putting on this one that the others didn’t have for which you can’t do without?
This one being the latest model, do they still need the Kev mod/ variable resistor for the fueling?
In terms of priority, whats the first mod you recommend needs doing?Looks frikken awesome but I must ask, have you guys down there got some Mchappy plants growing in the spare room or what??
