Just got a set of slimline LED blinkers for the rear of the XR. The standard ones are still on the front. I have hooked them up to the correct plugs and they light up but dont blink nor will the front blinker. The test light blinks and so does the front when put in the plugs.
The LED ones appear to have what I am assuming is some sort of tiny in line resistor or something on the power wire.

    What am I missing?

Mick there is a thread I think its in the tech help, find it and link it here mate because we got the same setup here and stuck the same problem at about 12.30 last night and a flat battery. Menace had some input on it and there are pictures etc

I will check later as we are live in the shed

From what I can work out from that thread,I need another resistor? Why the hell dont they come with one or some freaking instructions at least??
    Resistors
    Regulators
    Rectifiers
    Blah blah blah blah.
Man I hate this crap,I have had enough electrical bullshit for one week. :S

Dude thats why I pulled into the bike shop yesterday and got a pair of micro normal bulb indicators that are really small to replace the standard ones on the front of the DRZ that are the size of your average aircraft carrier, me no need a resistor/restrictor/resporator

The black wire is earth, fuse the other two together and plug them to the + side of the flasher.

Mal @ Sutto’s hooked up all the parts for the motard project and I gave those ones to Moose the other day from Mal for Mick to try before he buys.

They look the goods TB. I might grab a set on our next lunch date in a couple of weeks. I had smaller single LED on the Sherco, but they weren’t very bright. They look like there is 6 or 9 LEDs on them. Nice.

Mine are a bit different. I think they are about $35. They look pretty bling with the carbon fibre look.
Dunno how long they will last before I kick one off with my boot getting on the bike.

They are the ones I had Mick. They lasted well. They only broke when I tried to get them off to put the new guard on. Not very bright but they look flash.
