From what I can work out from that thread,I need another resistor? Why the hell dont they come with one or some freaking instructions at least??
    Resistors
    Regulators
    Rectifiers
    Blah blah blah blah.
Man I hate this crap,I have had enough electrical bullshit for one week. :S

Dude thats why I pulled into the bike shop yesterday and got a pair of micro normal bulb indicators that are really small to replace the standard ones on the front of the DRZ that are the size of your average aircraft carrier, me no need a resistor/restrictor/resporator

Boony you may still run into trouble with normal globes depending on their wattage.

The standard big globes a 5W each. The small ones on mine are only 2W which drops the resistance for the lights causing them to flash much faster than normal speed.

When replacing only the rear mine still worked normal but once doing the front to the problem started. Need to add resistor to fix the ploblem. Or do what I did and piss them off alltogether, problem solved.

With that I was also able to piss off the left hand switch block. Just put a small switch on there so I can now turn the headlight off while riding.

Thats a couple more grams off the big banana. Every gram counts.

Sucked in Boomy thats what happens to smart arses

Hey if you had gone to a good bike shop like we did we got LED’s with built in resistors so it turned out to be trouble free
