Okay i’m putting my hand up to do welding repairs. custom fabfication
if it can be posted/ freighted to me i’m more than happy to do it on the cheap side for fellow riders,
i’ve only offered this to OBT so far ‘cos your such a top bunch of blokes and i’m sick of shops charging $77+/h.
to date i’ve mainly done repairs for my family, a few friends etc.
okay i’ll work for $30/hour that includes small consumables i.e. filler wire, gas.
>>>>the up side is i’ll donate 10% to help out with OBT admin costs< <<<< suck, suck, plug, plug, hint, hint

unfotunately i will have to charge for larger quantities of alloy/steel sheet for custom work, but i will only charge cost for materials.
to date i have done some custom work for my 640 such as the number plate/ reg. sticker holder, i’m currently working on an alloy air box cover with a largish hole in it to fit an extra pod style filter on the inside to improve air flow+ looks. i’ll add pics as i have them.
the other product in the planning/making is a conical end cap for the Std. ktm 640 muffler. again=pics as i have them.
as for custom graphic sticker set designs for your bike, i’m happy to draw up designs until i crack it for something that suits your taste/style.
i do all the drawing by hand on paper, i have tried photoshop etc. but have found pencil on paper is far quicker!
…….= in an hour i can do up to 1/2 a dozen different sets once i have the outline of your bike, however the colour and texture will look a bit on the shabby side and needs to be taken with a grain of salt until the colours/ designs are settled on.the end result is far better than drafts.
here are some klx 250 radiator shroud ideas for Bill Blue’s 351 big bore bikes.

if you have read to here, i do really appreciate your time and consideration!
PM me any Q?’s with your email to discuss anything.
kind regards Andrew.

May 6, 2009 at 2:37 am #132738Did I miss your location?
May 6, 2009 at 2:47 am #132653ah no Austblue,
Sorry my location on file is cryptic .
i’m at Deniliquin, 45 min from vic boarder =Echuca, 3 hrs from melb, 2 1/2 from Wagga and Albury.
so the middle of nowhere and probably too far from most OBTers to bring stuff to me. that’s why i said if gear can be posted.= small stuff.
