On my Batemans Bay ride the other day,17 bikes,mostly wr’s and Katos….best rider by a long way was on a drz 400.Admittedly the guy riding it could REALLY ride a bike,but it was refreshing to see that the dr could hold its own on the day and then some.
They are bloody good bikes and i did the Nundle two day on one last year and it was one of my first big rides,it looked after me well(exept when i fell into “Bollocks lake”).Drz is my recommendation c e l….It will never let you down

Boll’s I rode with a freak of nature (ex-Kiwi MXer) that blitzed technical S/T on a 1996 KLX650R in as rough a condition as you would find… doesn’t mean it’s the best choice though.
Your DRZ addled logic is flawed, like Boonies, now go and find us some more “barnyard” treats before you are banished to the Suzuki forums……I concur with the KLX or even the Banana :laugh:
