OK so are you permanently installing the O2 sensor? Apparently they generally don’t like 2 stroke, particularly oil rich mixtures of that era – 25:1?

Sorry LC. I’ll elaborate if you like. We are talking about a local Dubbo ride, hardly an epic adventure

– Met up at my place at 2pm. I wasn’t ready as I thought Rocket wouldn’t turn up – he did.
– The stock route out to the single track has been tilled by someone so all the rocks have popped up. No more high speed runs. It’s a royal PITA now.
– Found the tracks/loops we cut in and it looks like some locals have used them which is good here because the sandy corners are better when they are bermed up.
– Did some laps and some of our usual moaning about how the government is taking away all our riding areas.
– Rode home just before dark. No one hit the deck so everyone wins!

Non of your photos show the headlight properly. Is it a twin halogen like the indoor downlight type (MR16)? Never had one myself. So 1 on is low beam and 2 on is high beam lol?
As you probably already know if it didn’t roll off the showroom floor like that it’s not compliant. Is it an equivalent replacement for the standard light and complies with motorcycle headlight requirements, probably not. Will the pink slip guy give a hoot? Nope.
Most I have seen for pink slip is starting the bike up and running through lights and horn. Anything more than that and you should find another pink slip person.

That’s a great track he’s on HB. That step up the hill and down again reminds me of Moomba Masters Supercross at Calder Park “many many” years ago. Nice find.

Bob’s is too far for a day ride. Pick another weekend and we can do a 2 day ride there if he will have us.
