I don’t think you will be disappointed Boony. I was like Menace and I wasn’t sure about them on the first ride (but I was also riding with new boots so I was getting used to two things – hard for a girl you know (harder for a guy though :P )) but by the second ride I really started to enjoy them.

As for trying everything out once except buying a Kato – gosh the pictures in my head Boony

    Behave you devient :woohoo:

Nows the time sell there will be guys looking for the 10/15Kg out fits with the new rule change for Tag & Release. Yep I snaped that shot in Cairns estimated 350Kg,I know the feeling I have had a 12 year break, broke my leg riding a Pony Express in Denman then my arm on my birthday ride 5 weeks later, top way to spend your birthday in hospital.Anyhow the misses read the riot act ‘get rid of the bike or’ you know the story. So I got rid of the bike and went fishing, she still left any way, but good news the new bride rides a TTR 125 and my little girls Raptor quads.Jeese I was getting a bit deep there sorry.Old Bull fishing trip sound good,I will have my boat at Port Stephens from Xmas through to April thats the time when the Striped Marlin turn up as you would know so when it is going off I will let you know.Attached photo of my boat Magic is her name.

There is nothing low tech about a modern V8 supercar. This comment suprises me coming from you.

everyone, including the commentators, keep telling me over and over again that it is special. would it be so special if people didn’t wank on about it?I think the same of certaim music festival but I reserve my comments as I know and appreciate people enjoy that kind of thing.

I only get to go dirt riding approximatly once every 6 weeks and thats normally only a morning ride, so yeah match fitness will help, but the DRZ is to blame not me :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I have ridden with you twice Boony and I have to say honestly I feel your problem is not the bike or the weight of the bike its your lack of bike fitness. When we stopped for lunch on the Jurds ride your where rooted, more then one person said it. I know it wasnt the stuff you are used to riding in etc but if you rode more your muscles you use on the bike would get stronger for riding the bike.

Yes you will gain so much from setting bars up etc bike fitness is a big thing mate the more often I ride the better I can ride more comfortably for longer.

Just a thought I had regarding this thread this morning, I am not having a shot at you just trying to share some experince
Could not agree with you more
