It’s certainly a touchy subject and it pisses alot of riders off too. I know a few blokes that have been stung by someone shootin some gps shots so they can come back. Mateship goes out the window and bit of agro/resentment can set in instead, stuffin the ride up a bit.
Ya gota have a sense of adventure sometimes and just get out and into it. I get lost heaps of times and it’s heaps of fun and sometimes ya find that real nice peice of track that makes ya day.
Imagine comin home to that:lol: . The dog would of been having heaps of fun:lol:. Old mate the owner may have some choices to make re keepin him though:lol:
Do poodles count Mick. The Mrs talked me into gettin one last year and done the big sell job on me. He’s not a bad little thing and the wife and kids love him:lol: . One point she always makes when she wants something that I’m not too keen on is “you are into bikes and how much do ya spend on them” after that I’ve got nothin and she gets her way…mostly.
I ‘ve had alot of dogs over the years and had to give some away because they became problems.
A blue cattle bitch that started roundin up and nipping the oldest son when he started to crawl.
A labrodor that would escape over the fences at night and pinch shoes and full milk cartons from the neihbourhood. In the mornings he’d be asleep on the front veranda with his stash.
A staffy that got in a blue with another staffy when on a family walk at the park. He was on a lead and so was the other one which broke and they got stuck into each other. I never let go of the lead the whole time but they still locked in and tore each other up. I had to grab my fellas balls real hard before he’d let go.
It’d made a big seen too. I gave him to a mate that had a female staffy down the south coast.
I even had a moungrel that chewed the interior upolstry covering the rear wheel arches in a eh station wagon. I was only 15 and he was my best mate so he got off any punishment.

I’ve got arm pump after that.
I like to see and touch alot of stuff that I buy, especially riding gear.. I like to speak with mechanics also. If they seem alright and the price suit me and my budget I’ll give them a go and if it’s all ok I’ll go back:) Sometimes I buy stuff online through places like Suttos or Ballards too. I always ask if they can do a better price and they all come back with a heap better one.
A few blokes that I work with have started buying stuff from the US lately cause of the high dollar and seem happy with it all. I could be a bit harder too sort out if ya gotta send something back though.
I reckon there are bargains everywhere both locally and OS and both are right either way you choose to go.
No one likes to feel ripped off.
G’day TB happy birthday for yesterday. Hope ya had a good one mate.:cheer:
The bergs certainly look the goods ah Tisco  Ya see more and more out in the bush too
G’day Rex. I think i know you also. Haha although I thought you had the 200 still but I’m guessing you got a new 250. I bet ya are liking the 2 banger in all the single stuff you ride in. A big change from the 650 I reckon. Young Mitch needs to get back on the bikes.
A good weekend for riding mate.

BTW it still amazes me to see Fully sick Bro’s racing around camp grounds on Motorcrossers and 4 wheel Predators etc  when will these pricks ever learn?
Yeah Ollie nice riding if the rain holds…..I treat the Bro’s as entertainment:laugh:
macka wrote:The last ride we had down that way we ran into some guys drawing that sign everywhere. as it turns out wardy soft cocked it on this ride so they painted him with a skirt on for the next time he was there. apparently hes a curly headed wranga with a bit of a temper especially when he see’s himself painted on every second tree in a skirt. it did crack us up.very funny macka. if ya mates are being soft ya gotta let em know one way or another::silly:
I looks like it’s done some work but it is a 99 model. They are good in the bush. A mate had a real nice one but I’m unsure of the model. it got pinched though.
I don’t really no what this one would be worth…goin on the photos I’d maybe pay around $2000 if it could be regoed. What do other OldBulls reckon.:cheer:
Trailboss wrote:Ballards I think do a set that clamp around the swing arm but you may have to beef the suspension if you are two up or your lovely could end up with her knees around her ears   :laugh:TB
Yeah Ollie. I had a pair on my old 300. I use to double the kids and wife around in the bush mostly but they did get in the way sometime. Here’s a pic. :cheer:

I’ve been subscribing to ADB for years. I like it still and it’s something to flick through on the dunny. my 16 yr old waits for every month aswell. I’ve looked at a few others but they all seem much the same imo.
Will do Murph…cheers mate.
Yeah thanks Mick. I may of sold the kato but I had a buyer for the xr straight away so I was just nice and easy. I really enjoyed it also but I was’nt up for anything to hard on it. No murphbergs or the like that’s sure mate. I’ll get another thumper when I get my stuff sorted out.:cheer:
