I had some phone dealings on the phone with Rocks a few years back and they were super helpful at the time

I ended up buying my bike elsewhere in the end, but wouldn`t hesitate to call Rock Motorcycles in the future!!!Welcome to OBT guys

Terrific to have Jason & Barrett Exhausts onboard

I have a Barrett can on the 690 and it is the ducksguts !!!Apparently it sounds sweet too, according to Mick anyway
Looking forward to catching up with Jason at the Birthday ride now ………Cheers
Just got back from the pre ride to Bucketty

Cracker of a morning, with plenty of mist about and more than a fair share of Wallabies & other wildlife on the trails
All looks good for the departure time I had thought for me & Strucky to hit the road around 5.45am in the dark to traverse the Watagans via Cooranbong. I took my time and even stopped at Freemans for fuel to allow for slow going in the dark as well ,,,,
Ended up heading back up to Laguna then back up Watagan Creek Rd thru the valley and back across the Mountains, also headed up to Hunter & Maclean Lookouts cause it was so much better than being at work :woohoo:Ended up doing about 260klm, no time for pics cause I was having too much fun 😆
How are you guys enjoying work today ????????????
For the rcord Bones it is 24klms from Wollombi Tav to the turnoff at the wall mate. It is a right hand turn (posted “WISEMANS FERRY” about 150m past the Observatory turnoff which is signposted as well.
We will be on the right another 50m where there is a wooden fence and a sign “BUCKETTY WALL”
Pretty sure Ace is fine with directions to get there ,,,,,See you guys there
They will all be there in their mankinis I reckon Mick
:laugh:Good find
Thanx for that Boll
Might be an award in that for ya this year mate
The Perpetual Shit Stompers Trophy
See ya there Roota ,,,,,
What  Really ???
Thank God, I thought I was special for a minute :laugh:Yeah,,, You told me all about it on the phone yesterday arvo remember ???
Great work on helping them out , I know you love getting in there to assist wherever possible

Sounds like Steve has the same disease
Cheers
Welcome Flying Fish to the friday mystery tour
Looks like we will have a great weekend ahead of us.
I have pm`d Bones to arrange for FF to ride to the meet point with him, ALyssa & Stephen have volunteered to cart some camping gear if necessary to lighten the load on the bikes for you.Ace is fine to find his way to the Wall on friday morning, I am just waiting on Strucky to make his final call and I am ready to roll

Pre ride tomorrow to check times for me as well as a double check on the time & klms back to Wollombi Tav for Bones,,,
Looks like we might have the pleasure of riding back with MickP & GavB on the Sunday as well (some great blokes and a wealth of experience to boot) They rode down & back last year also

BRING IT ON :woohoo:
Looking forward to following the progress of the bike preps and watching the Spot Trackers on the rally

Way to go girls, grabbing the Bull by the horns so to speak :laugh:It`s a big event to have a go at especially unsupported , althought I`m sure you will have plenty of help about on the route, on the phones and on here etc etc
Good Luck with the prep for now

Saw this on another bike site and thought,,,, WTF
SO here it is anyway
If anyone can work out what the hell it is all about, let me knowI do reckon Rocket will love it though

Trailboss wrote:I have made some changes to the Adventure Moto adventure ride loop. The loop is now 260kms and will be lead by Steve from Adventure Moto on King Kenny. Eagle will be sweeping and they will run the corner system. There are two fuel opportunities on the loop those being Capertee and Hillend
Lunch will be at Hillend now
I think Nick from Tekniks will be riding my Tenere, Pete the Wolf is ridng Dejay’s DR, Flying Fish will be riding her mighty APC WR250. Anyone going will have a phat ol time on this loop
TB
Totally Awsome,,,
Now there are two new bonuses, seeing King Kenny in the flesh (so to speak) and one of those massive Hill End Steaks for lunch
Looking forward to this even more now (as if that was possible) :woohoo:Hey mate, Enjoy your one & only Birthday as “THE KING” , you get to hand over that tiars in a fortnight
BEst way to celebrate would be out on that Green Yamaha in those sweet loamy singles you frequent
Have a great day dude and see ya at Sunny Corner :woohoo:
Here`s a challenge for ya,,,,
Lets see if you can outdo last years saturday night performance    😆Doing a pre ride thru the Wattos to Bucketty on Monday (RDO day)
Never taken notice of timeline from my place to there , so it will help me set my departure time with Strucky to make the meet point by 7am
Will probably do the run up Murrays Run & out to Yango and the Creek RD to Wollombi on the return run (its always a cracker up there)

All is looking good for the leadup to the Birthday ride, just need to sort my gear and work out what I am gettin gPTW to drag down for me
Am still leaving options open for the return ride on the Sunday, depanding on the weather and energy levels after the saturday night “Ring of Knowledge” :S
Bring it On already

I went for the FLY TREKKER.
Good price to suit my budget and nice fit for my ugly mug
Has some good features with plenty of vents (16 of them in all) to keep the head cool in summer, also the ability to wear goggles and still flip the visor down if needed is a bonus I think,,,
I see the advantages of the top of the line lids like the Shoei & Arai`s but the that means I would be forking out big $$$ each year to replace them :laugh:I must hit the deck a lot or something ,,, actually have had the last lid for 4 years now but she is getting uncomfortable and time to be shelved except for the shorter days and the commute to work

Also, the open dirt helmet will not cut it on the cool trip to Sunny Corner :SAs always, buy what suits your head the best and the best quality that you can afford

That reminds me,,,
I have a bottle of Bundy Reserve Rum to donate to the auction.
Just means whoever buys it has to give me a swig if they crack it on the saturday night :laugh:Who knows, surely someone will run short on beverages & be keen to part with some $$$ for it on the night
