Happy Birthday “POSTIE PETE”
Have a great day champ!!
Cheers,
Lefty
Good luck gents! I will be watching with interest as it is something that I would definately like to do one day! How much fuel and water will you be carrying?
Cheers,
LeftyWell said PTW!
The Left One!
If it has air in the system the clutch will not slip., you will have no pedal (won’t release), so to speak If your clutch slips it has run out of free travel. I would be looking further at the clutch springs, bolts, plates, pressure plate, slave cylinder rod etc.
Cheers,
LeftyThanks Bones.
Next time that i am up that way i will check it out!
Cheers, Lefty
I will be in that also Pete, should commission track out there as well
Hey Lefty get a spot before ya get a GPS mate. I will lend you my GPS if I am here and you are going out mate, just the spot would be piece of mind when you are on your own if you get my drift
Yeah TB good idea about the spot for sure.
As for the Commision track that would be a great combo as it is only 5km from the end of Yengo.
Lefty

As for not going to far from home Jimmy…thats what tow ropes are for ..and i often ride with a mechanic or two
Every bike has the ability to break down, and every bike has the abilty to do some adventure riding.
I have choosen this bike because i like the grunt that comes with it.
Plus i only want one bike in the shed.
Thoughts on the oil kit on your KTM Lefty ?
Looking at that too but im abit worried as they stick out like dogs balls and i crash a hell of alot
Bol :woohoo:The oil kit is definately a good thing Bols, especially for the big miles. I crash alot too      and it seems all good. The beauty about the CPW Oil kit on the Kato is that if it shits an oil line, fitting or whatever is that it can be easily disconnected on the trail and the oil filter that is in the oil cooler can be installed back in its original location and the filter cover put back in position and off you go. Not sure on the CRF though.
Cheers,
LeftyLooks like a good buy for the new owner.
