    Mick,

Spoke with the boss and she said I’m good to go, actually she said it would get me out of her hair :S

So I will help too but its Rebore’s turn to push out of creeks

What are the requirements of the job ? or is it similar to sweeping an Old Bulls ride.

    Adam.

In the senior section, you wont expect to do any pushing or tyre fixing. jUst ride around looking for busted riders.
The juniors may need a bit of hand but tyres changing is not your responsibility.

How about young Sam. He’d be a great member for the team?

OK gents, you are all added to the list.

Congrats, you will have a ball. Not only the riding will be good, the atmosphere will be great.

Yeah Buzz I am pretty sure you can. A mate of mine bought a heap of genuine ones from Honda and they came in a snazzy Honda clip lock container all sorted into their respective sizes.

No wonder you got it so cheap. It hasn’t got any rocker covers!!

No seriously Ollie, a great bike for the price!! A set of fat bars with 20mm risers and it will make a world of difference.

OK I have just spoken to the owner of Mt Seaview and have secured accomodation for the sweeps in the Bunk House at Mt Seaview. I have also secured a spot down near the river for our snoring mate Kram.

Just to straighten things up about crashing Connor’s bike. As you saw it was very wet, I came scarping down a trail that I know very well, only to round a corner to find a head of a tree across the trail. This particular section is greasy red clay, I managed to wash a ton of speed off but not enough and was faced with two options, 1: plough head first into the head of the tree or 2: bin it into some ferns growing beside the trail. Option 2 is what I took, the trouble was these ferns were about 8 feet tall and were obscuring the fact that there actually was a big bank there and the YZ disappeared down over the bank in slow motion, landing in a soft bed of ferns and vines that stopped it from disappearing further down what was a huge steep hill. The ground was that slippery I battled to retrieve the YZ on my own as I could hardly stand up on the greasy red clay and the vines had wrapped themselves around the bike.
BTW Connor had already crashed it twice before I had a go at it. Anyhow we still had a ball!!

Here is another pic of my favourite up hill trail anywhere on the coast. It is steeper than the photo depicts and it has some perfectly shaped erosion mounds on it.
