Carnage,that is what happened.
made up your mind yet c-e-l?? Or have you been baffled with bullshyte? Kinda wish you hadn’t asked now,I bet?

You should seen Moose and Sutto get all close and personal on that hill. How Moose held the combined weight of himself,Old Burple,Sutto and the KTM690 all on one leg, still has me in awe.

Quote:How about that big long single hill from the 4 day that had 10 summits as Moose said  wsnt that rockyTB
The first 9 summits were not to bad, it was the very last bastard that looked like the steps of the opera house, that sorted me out.
Is that the hill that caused the grief on the 4 day??
Yeah a KLX450 deserves a mention too Blue. THe ones I have seen on the trail seemed to be up to the job.
admittedly I have the bike for the job but I really enjoyed getting out on those back roads having a look about and checking the views as opposed to riding around in circles in the bush seeing nothing but trees, oh and rocks did anyone see the rocks?
Did anyone mention a DRZ400 yet? :S
THe Official Yamaha Press release I recieved yesterday

“I am stunned and saddened by the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with the McFarlane family at this time and Yamaha expresses its deepest sympathy to the entire family. Motocross has lost a true competitor and a true professional,” said Yamaha Managing Director, Steven Cotterell.

CRAIG DACK – CDR ROCKSTAR YAMAHA
“I can still recall that day in Broadford back in 2000 when Andrew took on the world. His effort made every Australian at the track stand up and cheer. The first 20 minutes of the opening moto made for one of the best atmospheres I have ever experienced at a motocross event, all because of the efforts of Andrew and his desire to succeed.“His loss as a friend, competitor and rider on the Australian scene is huge and he will long be remembered as pioneer of Australian motocross and a popular rider within his peers.”
RAY HOWARD – YAMAHA MOTORSPORT MANAGER
“The atmosphere and the look in the riders’ eyes last Sunday said it all. Andrew’s death was devastating to all and leaves an un-fillable hole in the motocross landscape. He was dedicated, professional, talented and determined; all that assets that fuel a competitor to a level so few achieve.“On behalf of our race teams, we are honored to have worked with Andrew, proud of his achievements and gutted by his death. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the McFarlane family.”

Yeah I was starting to feel a bit fatigued from swinging off the XR650 at about the 170km mark on Sunday. So I sat on the supplied seat and had a rest and came good again.
