THe CRF one probably wont bolt straight on without an adapter. If it’s off idle bog you are trying to sort out, have a look at the Mikuni then. I ran one on my 600 and Chicken runs one still. The Mikuni made a world of difference, especially getting rid of the “post jump bog” it suffered from. They are also a sinch to start again after a drop too, where as the stocker carbs flood easily. Ballards do a kit and I think from memory it was around the $435 mark for the Carby , cables and new Throttle tube etc..

    Chris………..

Couple of other options to consider would be a flat slide mikuni or maybe chase down a 2nd hand carby of a CRF 450?

It was a story relevent to our sport. A reminder of what can happen.

I also lead rides most of the time and left handers on main trails are what worry me for some reason. I nearly ran over a Suzuki 4×4 on my BRP one day and it always plays on my mind now.

Could be buggered seals in the master cylinder too. We had a KX85 doing a similar thing, I replaced the piston and seals and all is good.

Why is he selling, how much land and how much does he want for it

    Hatto

With a young family they want to move to town for the kids sport and schooling etc, it is on 300+ acres and has two 5 bedroom homes on it.
It would be a great spot to run bike tours from. Asking $640,000.

On a safety note, should I wear a white suit and a breathing apperatus whist handling said batts and note the positioning of any down lights?

Yeah Ollie I can see where you are coming from, anytime someone looks to buy the property I should ride up and down the fence with the pipe off the XR.

Top spot for sure, it will be a sad day when Phil sells it. :(
