Just jerking your chain Ollie, the Maria would have to be one of the best kept secrets around here, I definately want to get back up there for another bash.

I think we ended up doing around 240km for the day, Another place that needs some more exploration from that day, is up around the Hell Creek/Kundabung area.On that ride, I noticed that there were trails darting of in all directions.

Jeffro that is awesome!!! You can see the bits I lead, we actually went somewhere in a straight bearing. It also proves that Ollie was leading us around in circles.

How cool is that!! Top job mate.

Kirk Hutton didn’t compete in Sundays program as he rushed back to Brisbane to be with his wife Leigh who went into labour in the early hours of Sunday morning. They welcomed a baby boy into the world at 2.30pm Sunday afternoon.

Hey we might throw that big tank in my shed on Ol Burple and between the three of them we should nearly have enough fuel,

It doesn’t matter to much, Crash and his super tanker are down for the ride. Really no need to take any jerry cans.

Poor option that one, I have heard his quote on the cost of a litre of trailside fuel from the supertanker

If the price is right, she looks OK. Try and get the guy to throw that trick stand in on the deal and if the bike turns out to be a POS you can throw the stand through his window.

In all seriousness, it is hard to tell from a small pic like that from the other side of the world.

A few things to look at would be,
    does it start easy
does it have any suspect rattles in the engine when it is running.
does it have good throttle response
Do the wheel bearings have any play in them.
Same for the head stem bearings and swing arm linkages
Any suspect oil leaks from the cases
How badly dented is the expansion chamber.
Are the chain and sprockets in good order

It appears to have the original graphics on the radiator shrouds so that may indicate it hasn’t done that much work. I dont think that they are the original rims on it either.

    Just some things to ponder.

Now that is a tongue in cheek reply if I ever saw one!!

Yeah, that is if you buy it from the States. Buy the part in OZ and be prepared to be shafted.

Funny you should mention this Bollocks, I heard an advertisement on the radio yesterday and got all keen to start an Old Bull concerted effort in supplying gallons of the stuff. What say guys? Lets get into it!!

yeah I forgot to mention that the OEM ones are made from the sacred rubber from the depths of the Amazon. I presume they were judging on the price I paid for my last one.

I dunno what became of him, probably still submerged in one of those freeking big mud holes!!

AS it turns out the scoring system on the AORC website seems to have chucked a wobbly and no longer shows the scores. :S

STM, just a bit of a heads up, beware the fumes off cut Lantana, as it can be a tad toxic and make you feel a bit crook if exposed to it for too long or in a confined space.
