I too reckon it was the toughest ride I have ever had on a dirt bike, I was actually amazed that I got around the circuit on the Fiddy without dropping it, although I did crash into a tree that stopped me from dropping the big girl.
Check at your dealer for availability. The part number you will need is 52170 KTI 770
Check here as different models have different part numbers.

Quote:Thanks for the answers. I will check the oil and filter next change. Austblue I don’t have one yet but I will invest in one. Do they have a magnet in the bolt or has the bolt itself had a magnetic charge added to it?I am pretty sure that they have a magnetic insert in them. It will freak you out when you pull it out and it has a metallic affro on the end.

Actually No, I have been thinking “shit my thumb hurts, I didn’t realise I used my right thumb so much” And If I see that cat again, I am gunna reap revenge on it’s sorry arse.
Another one of Boony’s Dad’s army tours?? Good to see you dragging a few newbies along Boonsta. Rain/drizzle all day over there did it?

Maybe you are getting to old!!! 😆
Hahhah Nice play with words!! It has been a long time since I have had to handle a wet “feral” pussy. From past experiences I have learnt they are best left alone. You cant make friends with them, even if you do give them a sausage   :S

Not like that spastic thing I pulled from the pool this morning, if I see it again, there will be trouble.
Great report there Katgirl  “Practise makes perfect” is the old adage, although I have had a heap of practise and am far from perfect, when it comes to picking lines up hills.Normally the XR650 picks it’s own lines generally and I just hang on. The more you ride the easier it seems to become.
Congrats on organising a ride, that is what OBT is here for. The ride is only a small portion of the big picture though, the cameraderie that accompanies a group ride is the best bit by far, in my opinion.
Cheers
MickMy day its continuing is spiral down into the depths of hell. I should have stayed in bed
:angry:To add insult to injury, the missus said that I should have let it drown as it wasn’t one of her cats.
Flag marshalled at the AORC untill 1pm,(my brownie points are at low after last weekend’s birthday bash so I came home early :S ) came home watched some tele, trimmed the hedge,Rode my bike down and watched the Barefoot drags down at the river, now having a beer while the missus yells at the kids.
Great job Scott!! How much an hour do you charge??
Here are some pics from The AORC.
These two dudes wanted to get their picture taken with Connor, so he obliged.

Sweep riders briefing. Busy227 lays down the law.

The seniors prepare for the start

They are off and racing. Note the Ballard boy, on the far left of the shot. He saved it, that is why he is a sponsored rider I suppose!!

Some of the track wasn’t to bad.

But most of it was a quagmire.

Hitting it pinned seemed to work

There were some huge rutts that formed!!

Classic!! Lucky Sal isn’t a member and cant get into the bullpit to read that gem.
LC, I dunno if I should ,as I work in the print industry and I know that could be deemed as a breach of their copyrite.I know our company would take a very dim view of it, if some one posted any of our stuff on the net the day it was released.
