I am pretty sure it would have been bought new at whoever was the NRMA depot at Gunnedah in the 70’s. That is where my uncle worked.

The thread was a thanks to Sutto’s and a heads up on how they will look after us Old Bulls.

    And as for you TB.

The GPS would have got me there.
Mal woulda looked after me anyhow.
Directions to the servo?? That was across the road,I may be from Wauchope but I am not blind.

I didn’t think I needed to thank you, as you know what goes around comes around with me.Otherwise you wouldn’t do it. Besides, you’ll get your thanks soon enough.

Where is the rest of that old yellow YZ??????????? Moose would like to talk to that man.

My uncle from Gunnedah had a Leyland P76 the same colour as that one when I was a kid.
Be funny if it was the same one.

Well worth the drive!!! All the gear is the new 2010 gear too, which is important to a 12 year old!! The prices I paid at Sutto’s is what you would expect to pay on run out stock from last year.

    Boony

Is this 100% confirmed???????? It is getting harder to get you Tamworth boys to come across the range for a ride. Is Bollocks still a starter?

I need this info for the accomodation bookings.

Justo, all is cool, you are down for the Friday ride.

If anyone wants to come up Thursday night. Moose said that you’d be welcome to swag at his place as he has a ton of shed/camping space and the Friday ride starts at his place anyhow.

Perhaps it’d be worth updating the ride grading sticky with a “suggested ride briefing” to help make sure as many of us are playing off the same sheet of music as possible.

that probably isn’t all that silly AB. Although it wont happen today,it is a good idea and some thought will have to go into wording it correctly.

Having been separated from the group more than once (once on a paid two dayer) and also having lost riders in the past, the policy I stick by is the one TB mentioned before. Back track to the place you know you were last seen, sticking to the left of the trail and traveling at about 20kph and sit and wait once you are there.

If you do think you are lost, try and be mindful to look at the trail for marks left by the group before you ride on too far compounding your “lostness”. The last time we got seperated, we actually lost the leader, the whole group followed me and it wasn’t until I rode through a big spider web across the trail that I realised something was amiss.

    My two bobs worth.

Looks like a good ride boys, I was thinking of bringing the transalp for the duelsport ride but I think maybe the swamp and sanddunes may be too much for my meagre riding skills and her weight, will probbly just bring the Doctor instead

yeah Jeffro, I would suggest you leave the big girl at home. It isn’t a dual sport ride in the true sense, we called it a dual sport ride as you get either end of the spectrum in this ride.Tar road to sweet single. The DRZ will be a perfect steed for he ride, although it will be hard on your tyre.
