Birkshire Park?? Just a guess as I cant see youtube at work.
I cant say for sure that is the shop. I just presumed as it was posted from Lismore and it all came in a Triumpth spare parts box.
I dont get on ebay much and I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw those parts listed.

MurphThe thing is Murph you can still ride your bike when the North easter is pumping.
I was quoted $240 for a genuine piston, rings and the two gaskets.
I got a genuine piston, two sets of rings, gudgeon pin, bearing ,clips, two full gasket kits, a genuine tool kit all for $144 of ebay from some bike shop (Triumpth dealer) at Lismore.
He could probably do the KIck start now so he is ready to go as soon as he is 7. Get onto Dave and he’ll let you know the deal.

Has your young fella done his Log Book kick start program with Dave yet?
Gotta love Kawasaki heavy industries. Then again I have heard that God looks after the rightious.
It was indeed a lucky break………pardon the pun.
Sorry syco, I missed this post. We have been experimenting with painting plastics. Guards and side covers come up ok but will scratch easily. AS for the tank, being semi permiable the fuel fumes leach out very quickly and start to bubble the paint in no time. I would be interested in seeing the results of your tank sealing efforts though.
AS far as cheap after market plastics go. Ebay in the States is probably your best bet.Trailboss wrote:

Mate I do a bit more on those bikes than I let on. They are maintained very well, oils filters etc. They are tidy units and they serve us well. you never see me running around at the races like a chook with my head cut off.
Now you got me thinking Hatto, I might just drop a hint or two around the missus that I’d like one of those Kelly bum bags for my Birthday. I think I will go with a black one, as it wont show greasy hand prints as much.
to read more about Kelly Enduro Bum Bags
Now is the time to be out there cutting some new sneaky trails in. :cheer:
