    Next Wednesday I think it is, that one of the magazines, who’s name escapes me is doing a 7 bike 450 shootout at the HVMCC mx circuit. Would be interesting to watch I reckon. They have hired the circuit for the whole day and will be there at the Wednesday club practice arvo too.

    I got all excited being an XR owner, untill I got to the compliance plate bit. I suppose you’d have to own a farm too. :(

    A bloke on Thumpertalk restored a faded XR tank by taking to it with different grades of steel wool and finally finishing off with a fine wet and dry then a polish.

    He did admit that it was very labour intensive and at one stage he wished he hadn’t started it. He perservered and the end result was awesome.
