Same M.O used up this way recently, they were going to the races and following people home in a Blue Commodore ute.Turns out they too got followed by some savvy people from our club and they were busted,as it turns out the grubs were from Newcastle and were getting orders for specific bikes.
Wet and muddy was pretty well the theme for all of 2009 up this way after having 3 floods in the one year.
Try the plug that connects the kill switch, switch block to the wiring loom. Most likely found behind the front number plate, I know that is an achilles heel of the PW50 in wet weather or after a wash. Spray some contact cleaner or WD in it and tape it up and see how you go.

Shopping center car parks are my nemisis. Yeah I may have got a tad disorientated in a Macca’s carpark but it was only because I had to double back looking for Thirsty as he was stuck on a speed hump.

My riding buddies call me the human GPS.Said in jest my friend!! I honestly believe that some people are more in tune to magnetic north than others and can find their way well. (I seem to do ok with finding my way , except when in the Northern hemisphere.) My missus is bloody hopeless with things like that.
Thanks for the intro Motoman, Once you spend a bit of time on OBT it becomes easier to navigate. I find that I have the same issues when I get on DBW and trailmates.
AS for young smart arses,we tend to weed them out fairly quickly. Any of the young guys on OBT are kept on a fairly short lead and if they get out of line we usually let them know in no uncertain terms.

We have picked up a lot of members due to the crap that goes on at other sites. We try to run by the not how fast you are on your bike but more, how much fun you can have on your bike philosophy.
I hope you can get some value out of being a contributing member, although it may end up the other way round, as going by your intro, you sound pretty experienced.
Bring your sense of humour and a thick skin and you’ll have a ball.
(BTW. If you have trouble navigating OBT, how do you get on in the bush????..LOL)
Cheers.
MickHow good does that first hill look!! no ruts, sweeeeet!! The hill to the look out looks a beauty too. So many awesome riding spots within an hour’s drive of here,it makes the mind boggle!! Thanks for sharing sb_250y. Next time I drive through Warrell Creek I will be trying to spot the hills you were on.
What a bugger as Moose and I are heading to Taylor’s arm the following weekend.

Dan I dunno if you can make it out real well from this pick but it might give you a bit of an idea about the cable routing

I am a bit stiff and sore today, yesterday was worth it though.
It is my first day back at work and the first words my workmates said to me this morning was, “Shit!! What happened to your face??” My answer was “Lantana.”
I certainly wore some in the face barging my way down Kokoda trail. I saw a few guys bleeding from the nose after that run. Sorry Moose, about that big rock you wore on your nose :blush:Yeah Ollie Elkhorn was awesome. Lucky it was foggy and you couldn’t see how far the drop was if you ran off the trail though.
Good way to get your post count up, after a quiet couple of weeks Moto.
