There is an old guy here in town that has a NX in mint condition. I was gob smacked when I checked it out and noticed it had 78,000 km on the clock and he said he had it serviced regularly and it hasn’t missed a beat!!!!

A long working relationship with the one bike (12 years) coupled with the fact he has ridden pretty well all his life, contributes to how well he punts that his XR600 along with minimum fuss.
One thing I forgot to mention was that the ride was just on 100km long and the fact that we were hammering along meant that we used more fuel than expected. My XR ran bone dry and stopped, coming down my driveway after doing only 104km.That is cutting it fine. Normally I can get up to 120km before reserve on a cruisy ride.

Best go to a Yamaha dealer and have a look at another PW. I dunno it seems to be sticking out funny. Like it could catch on something. I meant to mention it earlier but forgot.

Hey Dan I think TB’s 2nd point was a shot over my bow, not yours.

Freaking awesome!!!! :woohoo: She looks like one happy girl.
I can still remember the look on Connor’s face the Xmas day he got it too!!
Cheers guys, glad I could help out and that the bike has gone to a good home after TB’s big effort at reserecting it after it sat unused and unloved in my shed this past year.
Here’s a hint, he left a big impression on Hill End ride.

Due to the continuing wet weather,I am considering cutting out some of the bigger hills in order to save the trails from damage. This may see a few fire trail sections up to 4km long to by pass a couple of the gnarlier hills. I will make a decision on the run tomorrow once I see how wet the trails are.
Should still be awesome fun!!
The way things are filling up with rides we would be looking at April.
Yeah those steps look like fun. Looking forward to a Nundle run so I can ride some pine forest as there are none around here. They look sweet in peoples ride reports.

Funny that you should go to all that trouble researching this and that, to discredit my statement on how many hours the KX has done and you cant get the bikes cc right.
How the topic of the KX came about was when Dave slagged off Kawasakis.
B.O.T now.
