My young fella’s 06 KX85 has close to 200 hrs on it………….still has the original piston and rings in it. Still starts easy and still goes like the clappers. I am happy with the green machines, at the races you never see me at the start line kicking the guts out of a Kwaka that wont go.Why the contempt for Kwaka’s Dave?
Somehow I think Suzuki made a few more than 8.

I am of belief that if you cannot confidently start your XR650/600 in thongs, you shouldn’t take it in the bush.
They can” flame out” at the most inopportune time ie on an off camber hill,in the middle of a creek or the likes. If you do not know the start technique, you will be kicking your arse off till the cows come home. :S You gotta know a fiddy to love them, find TDC and it is happy days, knowing what to do if they flood with fuel when you drop one, is always handy too.The manual decomp lever is your friend
All the best for the new year. May it bring you all good health, prosperity and loamy trails.

Yep I will admit,it was the only bike with a retread and it was the only one that lost traction on the hill. I got 500km out of the retread. going on the price I paid for it it cost me 10c per km.
Here is some video of young George on the pipe well and truely. Awesome conditions!!
As a matter of fact I fitted the S12 to your SM Pro rims TB. I spent the morning fitting them up, The piggy looks pretty bloody good with the black rims. Cheers TB for the loan of them. I will do my best to put a ding or two in them for you.
