wouldn’t have it any other way, sure if you’re racing for sheep stations a modern 4t will give you a better chance, but grin for grin, the 2T wins every time.
96 was a good year, the Great JMcGrath used his ’96 until 98……. I owned a sucession of CR250s from the late 80s to early ninties, brilliant steerers, top mid-range and good weight bias, suspension (forks) needed valving and springs to get them up to Kayaba standard

One 14 charged under the young offenders act, the other 18 charged with stealing and other offences, they got what they deserved
Lets hope the coppers can catch the scum that pinched the bikes from Tele Point
Adam.
and hope the prosecutor and magistrate do their jobs correctly, the law is there, just needs to be applied…
on a similar note we’ve had some Kempsey scum traveling up here on the train and spending the weekend “finding stuff”…….

2 fold whammy, they learn the value of a dollar, and they MAY end up having an ethic
Bruce they already have that system it doesn’t work, they don’t turn up for they work, it bogs down in the legal system. Maybe when we cut their hand off we cut their benefits off also. Once we do it do a few or a few hundred the message will get across. Fuck them!
TB
doesn’t work in the middle east either, forces them into more criminal activities, ok, forced labour then in a gaol system, got some roads that need repairs, bridges to build, parks to clean, numberplates that need stamping…..
yes having a bike stolen is bad, like many of us I have been a victim, leaving me with monthly payments at 16 on a bike that I didn’t even get to ride…. it leaves a sour taste, and is very emotional….. but is cutting hands off commiserate with the crime, it has been shown that even the death penalty doesn’t deter, neither does the three strikes laws, these types of people are generally not thinkers and it doesn’t enter their heads before or during the crime, so another approach. And no I am not soft, just someone who thinks about the entire issue not just the retribution
Trailboss wrote:micknmeld wrote:There is a $2000 reward for info leading to the recovery of the bikes. That sux, I mean having to pay to get your own bikes back  Yes Jimmy we should start cutting off hands I 100% believe we would see a massive reduction in theft. Trouble is the do gooders won’t let us deal with these pricks because it isn’t the pricks fault they will tell you  Seems the poor pricks mother didn’t breast feed him, or she feed him more from the left not the right. His father left home or whatever it’s never these #%$&: fault it is always societies fault
Cut their hands off !!
