I onec blew my ACL, PCL and severly tore my MCL all at once. I opted for the hamstring reco for both cruciates and I was near to full strength at nine months.
If you go the hamstring way the real key is heaps of pshysio. The first three months out of surgery really are make or break as far as your future range of movement goes. It gives me no trouble these days so a full recovery is possible.
Good Luck

I am away three days, two nights every week and the pub tip is a good one. I also load the MTB and a surfboard in the car so I plan my days so that I get a bit of recreation to keep it all in balance.
I have been doing it for 10 years now and some weeks it wears you down if it turns into extra nights away but generally I have the system pretty dialled and it has allowed me to live where I am now which I absolutely love.

Hey BillT
Up my way winter is the dry season but in the summer mud I have been very happy with The Michelin S12. The knobs will jump right off at the first sign of bitumen but if it is soft they are the business.

Welcome to what is an incredible resource not only for the rides it offers but for the crew that lives in this portal.
Good bunch of guys whose collective trail knowledge and bike sense more than makes up for their complete lack of common sense :laugh:Enjoy the site mate and I look forward to sharing some Aussie singletrack with you one day.

I heard the tools were good quality but the bag itself was not as well made.
Not my own experience though.STM

Forget the A4DE website then, OBT will have live updates :woohoo:

Nice work Bol.
If this weeks OBT was a magazine your report is the cover story. Great read and photos and I can’t wait to see some footage. You don’t have to post footage of you crashing though as I have seen it in the flesh in Wauchope
