I use a large Syringe from a vet, I drain most of the fluid from reservoir and fill the Syringe with new fluid and hold it against the nipple, push the plunger and crack the nipple and push the fluid from the bottom up thus pushing the air out, tighten the nipple up before you stop pushing the plunger. Use plenty of fluid to push it all through in one hit, works every time

Over the years done most every brand of common bikes and never a problem

Was that the explanation of how to bleed a brake or my excuse for not having to go to Vegas?

As far as your excuse goes walk into work dressed in your purple hippo suit and start swinging your arse and patting air arse and they wont send you, why do I have to think of everything ;)

Belray make a good water proof grease, any good quality water proof grease, I will also show you how to pack a bearing probably, man I hated repacking bearings when I was a apprentice

Boony, by your own admission you aren’t the most ‘foolly sik’ rider out there and therefore I wouldn’t bother with the S12 front. Mine wore really quickly and lost it’s effective quickly too, although it did offer huge grip to start with. I haven’t tried the M12 front but alot of people seem to run them and like them. It will be my next front tire.

I currently have a Starcross MH3 on and whilst it has good grip the top of each knob has started, or has fallen off and therefore I am less than impressed with the life of the thing.

    Hey Moto

Is this post confusing or am I just drinking too much of my home brew.

It is but thats some of his best work

Hey S/T I would try a starcross, as Moto has used that one of his under all conditions including 60kms of tar on Saturday and you have such soft loamy conditions up there I doubt you will have have the same dramas ;)

I still don’t understand ECKS, you said the Hillend had to much transport and you didn’t like the high sped stuff you didnt want to ride the railway service line between wellington and orange and your doing the Condo 750  , around 150kms + of bitumen transport over two days, more if it is dry out there and they move it further out as has happened a couple of times I have done it. And a faster ride I have never been on, flat across paddocks  Powers to you for doing it, its a great event if you need anything give me yell
