Aaron I am sure that Mick as a Moderator going on that ride will be more than happy to help you with any questions you have, the deposits we have taken for the xmas party for example are being held by Moto.
Mick will also be able to advise you on what to be said before the start of the ride for yourself to be covered

Speak with Mick mate, I am working on the caves to caves anniversary ride that weekend

    Good luck

They certainly have a whole lota bling factor. What colour have you ordered for the BRP? Or will we have to wait and see?

Ha ha, it didnt start out as a bling thing Mick, I noticed that my rear hub was worn where one of the bearing locates :( My 1st thought was for a set of bling hubs, you know a set of talons etc all the bling, but with setting the NX up with radios etc, kids bikes etc I couldnt justify the expense. I then thought that as I had nearly 5 years of racing and riding from a standard hub and standard spokes I would then just fit a standard hub. Mal from Sutto’s priced me a new genuine Honda rear hub, he said he couldnt do much on the price as a KTM dealer they had to buy it in and it was $425 !! Hub only

I then found this distributor and spent sometime checking it out and agreeing to purchase a set and then review them as a cheaper alternative when replacing worn, broken or non blinged wheels

Once they arrive I will post up some contact details etc for the wheels.

My colour choice, well I have pictures of them but I will wait to the Caves to Caves ride I think now you mention it ;)

Day 3, the day after the night out at the Hogs Breath, in the pig pen

We rode thru town and out towards mt Canobolas where we waited for Bob, a cousin or something of LC4skins ( he has more cousins then places I have lived, and thats a statement  )

    Moto & Champo

    Champo

    P4180215Small.jpg

We started into a real nice single trail that just kept going, we came across a long slippery hill, Bob was in the lead with LC4Skin close then me and the others, so Bob with a very ordinary rear tyre scoots straight up

    Bob’s Tyre

    P4180239Small.jpg

So LC4 gets on his way up and disappears from my sight so of I go and am doing ok only to find a Kato 625 blocking my path. So I spin around and go back down, whilst waiting my turn again Moto and Green 450 try the right hand route, I can hear them struggling and LC4 takes of up there as well, I figure its well and truly blocked so I turned around and went back up the downhill we traveled to get into the gully, swung left and followed the road around to Bob’s bikes. I parked and walked down to see Moto and LC4skin stuck, with Bob pushing

Once the hill was clear Champo rode up

    P4180223Small.jpg

We rode around in some unreal tracks, real good stuff and will be back out there soon. We went up to Mt Canobolas lookout and parked on the monument

In the above photo Moto in looking down a drop of about 5+ feet high, an almost straight drop, Champo walked around looking at it saying that would be easy to ride up and jump off, but wouldnt do it, Moto also joined in but no one would do it. When we went to leave I did a fake run and and still no one was interested so fark it I thought and did it, its a 1st gear flat landing drop, it sounds easy but was a fairly hard landing, Moto then did it and Green450 but I noticed Champo never went of the big drop lol

We then rode over to the four day motocross site to have a look see (something happened there but I will let it be, the organisers need to pull there head in and be nicer to the supporting public, that ride registered bikes on a PUBLIC road) From there we went to the Robin Hood Pub for lunch (very nice)

    P4180228Small.jpg

The boys went out to the special tests for a look whilst I took care of some business in town and then I rode out to caught up with them and took them out to a current Australians enduro champs practice tracks in the forest, and pine forest
Champo whilst chasing me had a big moment and almost got stabbed my a rouge pine tree, I was unaware and when I pulled up couldnt understand why no one was there?

I took some photos while I waited

Champo was a bit shaken so we headed back to camp about 15kms away, LC4, Bob and green450 went back to camp to get Bobs bike loaded, Moto, Champo and myself went into town fueled, had a coldy and went back via some single trail (sweeeeeeeeeeet)

Back at camp it was found that Bob’s back sprocket matched his rear tyre

    P4180238Small.jpg

    Tyre again

It was Moto’s turned to cook as I had cooked for him and myself on thursday night, so Moto got pizzas (wasnt getting them a drama)

    That was day three

firstly Moto whats a being poofter? is that like a human being poofter:blink: you know how I feel about Homo’s and what their butts should be used for, hence the box of laxette verse I am known to use occasionally:laugh: actually come to think about It I believe I was moderated

Gili may well be In Afganistan about then, the ship he is on is trying real hard to keep him on.

I just checked the MA website, I thought I may be tied up with round 9/10 at Dungog but it is a couple of weeks before, so I am good. Not to sure about work committments as the government is getting concerned about illegal immigrants again and that means more patrols which may involve me. Put me down as a goer but I may have to pull out at short notice if everything turns to crap.

    Ollie

ps Moto I will transfer funds into your acct this arvo

    cheers mate OllieB)
