Also you are sometimes better of going to say Ballards and buying some special tools that can do multiple jobs rather than a heap of spanners, reduces your weight a heap.;)

Shane’s right, I think anyway tube or something in the back thing, I must admit I hate those rear tool bags for another reason, in that I had a small fall turn nasty because I got caught on it getting away from the bike and was badly hurt and was of the bike for nearly 5 months :(

Good to see you are a man of your word Mick, stick to your guns mate and enjoy your pants lol

    Some O’Neal quotes from Mick

“Both Ant and Chris have the Oneal pants and aren’t happy either. They started to fall apart after the first wash”. You then went on to say that O’Neal is “so you can see why I have come to the conclusion they are SHIT”

Love to go to war with your Mick, could count on you to cover my back!

That’s not fair Mick I rated the KX125 first and worst :( But I put two so the white elephant (the ktm as they used to be white, they changed the colour because now sheep ride them and they would blend into the bike   ) could be included

From experience I wouldn’t put anything in a rear guard bag, the weight of the item bounces around and tears the stitching and you loose the items, I have had it happen twice and I know heaps of people that have had the same happen thats why people wear tool belts, I mean if there was a better way then wearing the things around waist they would do it, but I don’t think there is :( Putting them in your back pack is bad for your back :(

Yeah guys the worst bike I have ever owned is the KTM , I mean how boring it gets blowing all opposition away, the huge kms I get out of them is the biggest drag, you know you have to ride this sucker for ages before they need anything done to them, and the jumping, braking and turning, how the hell am I supposed to feel when I cant get anyway past half throttle, cant jump it anywhere near what its capable of, the braking is terrible, you just rest one finger on the bugger and it stops, oh and that damm Hydraulic clutch, I was used to arm pump from those cables and boy I miss lubing them continually, and the way your riding buddies cant keep up, it gets real lonely waiting for them. Parts, where can I start, it really shits me that the parts are the same for all models and because of that they are cheaper, I dont know how the hell I am supposed to support the industry if the bikes models all have interchangeable bits that save money…..I just cant stand it any longer I am going to change to a Honda, at least then I can feel like the rest of the sheep, rather than this feeling like I was in a group of beginners, now I can fit in and be a beginner, what Honda do you recommend Mick…or TB, I am open to suggestions.

Bill did you see me bump my head yesterday?

YOU ARE A WANKER DAVE! Of your KTMs that YOU ride only one of them has been going since this site opened and you joined almost 8 Months ago! And its only one of your two that is going. Maybe you should get some cheap interchangeable parts and fix the other!

Ok thats done worst two bikes I have every owned was a KX125A7 Disc front, air cooled uni trac suspension, thing just blew up and than cracked a reed stopper and feed into the piston, and that was rebuilt and it did a main brg and it was rebuilt and the back shock bladder blew

KTM 250 cross country, failed a main brg, then split a clutch basket, counter shaft output brg, and 2nd gear shift fork, and was so expensive for parts.

Best bikes have been my XR’s all six of different sizes, rebuilt one after 2 complete race seasons including state and club rounds. Never done a clutch, gearbox, head gaskets, cams nothing touch wood, I am happy with them anyway

Unfortunatly I cant make it that day, but having said that I would reconsider the RTCB rides if I were you. These rides are set up mainly to cater to the flanny set. The tracks are usually rocky rutted shit holes, which of course can be fun, but not when your #600 through.

I reckon a better option would be a run through the Kenilworth state forest to Imbil pub for lunch then back again. Great riding in a great part of the country.

I have the gps track that I would send to whoever nominates to be the lead rider as long as they respect the fact and use it accordingly.
The route would need to be pre ridden as I havnt done it for quite a few months.

This would have to be a option we could look at Ray, maybe you could hook up with mcGUYver for a pre run
