I have always had blue dogs Dave, bloody best dog there is I reckon, we have a jack russell now and he is a good dog, lot like a blue in a lot of ways, but not a blue. I rang the guy ( we spoke about when you PM’ed me about putting this thread on )near Orange I know that breeds them for working dogs and others for famlies and he is working in WA on a fly in fly out deal so he hasnt had his breeding program going. Something will turn up mate.

A for effort here boys, Crash has family commitments on Sat, but knows how good the ride is, so he will park his ute with the other cars at the Zig Zag on Saturday night about 7pm and ride out to Hillend via the black top, no doubt dodging roos and bugger knows what else all to ride back on Sunday..
That’s how good this ride is, he has done parts of the ride and is keen as, he is Old Bull keen I reckon!

OK Moto calm down and take big breaths  , firstly TBAM is under control dont worry about that and it isnt ECKS sorting it out  .
Two riders have first aid kids and there is also one in the car! But would be good if you carried an extra ECKS cheers for the thought
.
Old Bulls have a heap of vests around 5 vests, we get them for nothing ha ha :woohoo: .
Eftpos at Capertee and Yetholme servo’s ECKS, there is also a Cashcard ATM at the Pub at Hillend but like Moto said cash is the go.
I am just finalising the details post that will be later this week regarding everything about the ride, including all the meeting points for the car, all the short cuts if we have dramas, escape routes for bush fires, types of petrol available, water holes, creeks, phone reception areas, maps for Moto to meet us if we need to pick a bike or rider up, everything  I hope!TB
I had to answer that there Moto, because I didn’t know where else to answer it, but how funny is it the two that took it of track was the two moderators, started by Moto, cracks me up.
Mick I don’t really know much about Torrents but I think its some sort of software for down loading movies
Wikipedia says its “a program that downloads files using the BitTorrent protocol”

That ranger we meet on the secret ride and he said and I quote, “the cops are cleaning out the Awaba area, around the power lines and up to Hawk Mount”. I used to ride my xr 600 to work through there when I lved at Wyee, its hard, rutted, dusty and fun! A lot of the land is owned my the mine and the electricity people and thats why your no supposed to be there I am told. Its all hear say that I have but thats what I know:blink:

Quote:Here is a number of steps to you should be able to follow.Unfortunatly I am a qualified Engine Recondtioner and forced to work with hundreds of these shims every week so I will make it simple because it is.Measure clearance with feeler guage
Write clearances and which valve on paper
Remove T/Chain tensioner, stuff a rag down front of engine so you don’t drop bits down there (if you do its all over)
Remove cam gears and cams
remove shims and bucket with a magnet, keep them in order
measure with digital vernier or micrometer, write sizes next to clearances
You should be able to do the math from here
You will need your bike manual to know how to reset timing chain tensioner and timing marks on cam gears with engine on top dead centre
A magnet to pick up shims buy from Repco or an auto shop
a set of digital verniers from auto shop $30 – $200
a set of feeler guages, talk to Ballards or auto shop
please reply if you have any questions
wr going great-bald tyre(fun:ohmy: )
Yup, got all those tools being that I am in the trade and thats pretty well how I would cover it, never done a VOR, but all the same so to speak, nuts and bolts up down round round (not a Honda)
