I have to go to Cessnock this saturday morning, I can take my bike trailer up and know the area (lived there for 3 years) I also will be returning to Blaxland where I live as does Old Girl if she would like her bike recovered and bought home?

Good luck tomorrow with the bike retrieval …….. hopefully it has dried out a bit over the last couple of days.

Made an attempt last thing yesterday on my own. It’s dry the ruts are massive  I couldn’t find it even with Smick Mick helping on the phone and the coordinates thought to be the spot gave up as it got dark. The plan was for me to meet Smick and Kat this morning at Kitchener pub but I was early yesterday and thought I maybe able to find it. Fail!
Will meet them there in 45 mins and no doubt we will get it this time as Mick was the one that hid it ;)

    Bugger,,,

Anyway I remember that Kamakazi Rocket was paired up with Me & Ace for the weekend, poor him
Welcome aboard KR, should be a hoot of a weekend, just bring your sense of adventure, your best navigation eyes and a cast iron gut ;)

Also saw that Steve (Wolfy) chimed in and has a couple of special guests coming along, Mr Payne from Yamaha Aus and Jason Barrett from Barrett Exhausts ;) Awsome

I also posted the link for the maybe proposed route I might take on the friday arvo to Mittagong,

    http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=2001539

Any other Hunter based riders have any other ideas or keen to hook up for the group ride down maybe.
Will probably change my departure time to 3pm (Newy area) to accommodate PTW if he is keen to ride rather than drive to Wisemans ,,, No real adventure in that and cuts the ride time way too short :P

This will be a crackerjack run as TB sure knows how to peice together a terrific ADV route and thanks to him, we get to share it and follow along at our own pace :)

    Bring it on, I can`t wait !!!!

Thanks eagle.. and I have been warned about you lot.. TB’s given me all the dirty 4 stroke oil on you guys..bahaha.. should be a blast.. I’ll only have one night to change the dress on my girl as I fly back from the Mine on the 14th so it will be a late night for me.. :S but all good..
    see you at the pub!

    KR

Sorry KR I have given you Crash to ride with, his first adv ride and yours great no mess around pairing I reckon. Have a special mission for you and Crash will speak with you and him tomorrow. Can you PM your number pls

    Ok Kids

Cant wait for this ride, been busy getting bikes ready but on top of it now. Last bit of a pre run sunday and we will be ready. Make sure you have read the first post I will update it shortly again with everything including fuel distances. The fuel distances are the minimum remember allow extra for detours and get lost.
This is a navigation event you will need to make sure you are on your toes zooming in and out, track notes will be more important than ever.

Another options out there. The market is getting flooded with actions cams which is good for us consumers.

I found a vid with a comparison with the GP2 and GP3 silver which have similar specs. To me the GP’s look a bit sharper and have more natural colours. I am sceptical of some of these comparison vids on youtube as it is all to easy to manipulate the footage to your own means but I’ll let those that view decide.

The AEE Magicam still look pretty good. $150 with a LCD back pac makes it a bargain.

Not sure if the LCD screen is in the deal Scotty bellow is whats in the box they say

    What’s in the box

AEE MagiCam Action Sports Camera (SD21)
    Wireless Remote Control
    Waterproof case
    External battery
    Various 3M Adhesive mounts
    USB cable
    AV cable

You have a GoPro you must know how far advanced they are to everything else at the moment

I’d like to see you last the full 20 minutes on an MX track , I reckon your Gopro would be filming the same spot in the sky for the last 18 :side:
