The Michelin’s are cheap! The same MH3 rear are $155 at a different popular online dealer …

What was the basic recommendation combination for generally hard-packed, usually dusty (at the moment) and rocky for a Berg/KTM?

Was it MH3 rear and S12 front?

    Razz

    Other way MH3 front – S12 rear

    Moose

Here is the truth ;) :P

Actually there was no real blood pressure at the time at St Albans until Kram (remembering I had heard earlier heard he was an hr and a half late to meet you guys waiting for him at the start of the day) So as it got later and later friday night I kept thinking he will come and ask me for the mounts and stuff so he could mount his GPS and get ready (surely he wouldn’t want to be unprepared and not ready two days in a row he may develop a reputation    ) but no I had to find him at 10.30 and ask did he want them. Then he said no (insert blood pressure here yes here  ) that he would just follow Strucky, and to leave the stuff in my car ( I know they weren’t only his but he had ordered them that makes him responsible I reckon a leader as such  ) I told him I would take the mounts and stuff out of the car and throw it in the paddock after all I had picked them up for him during the week and it had been a clear condition of the ride that you had to have a gps setup. Anyway he came and got them then the standard 100 excuses and she will be rights laughed off and Strucky lead anyway the next day     Didn’t matter this time, everyone enjoyed themselves and no one got lost much 😆 :P

I spoke with Kram yesterday and he has booked his lesson with me on my way to Coffs as he wants to get his head around the whole gps and computer thing soon which is great

You are welcome Moose glad you enjoyed the ride mate (can you bring my giant loop to Coffs please)

So that was you Jim at St Albans. Next time stop mate bikes are the easiest ice breaker
You would have enjoyed that ride on the weekend seems everybody did. 95% of old bull rides accommodate all levels or are clearly marked if they don’t. Dejay and I slip out for rides local a bit and now PTW has seen the light we will hook up with him now as well so you will have to join in.
I am running another 2 dayer in Feb so keep you on the site

    Again welcome

The worst coffee ever for sure

Dejay had some bike trouble that was fixed quickly and easily by stopping the flux compacitor from cross modulating, once this was done and we rerouted the fuel line so that when Dejay sat down he didnt pinch it stopping the fuel and causeing a puzzled look on dejays face

That was funny when it was discovered

    Adam.

I have as well to get a bike going for a weekend etc and the loctite will work well but it is only a temp fix to be honest. Loctite is good we use it everyday but its its only patching something really  If it wasnt temp Burg would just machine it to somewhere close and tell you to use loctite rather than work to fine tolerances. I loctite mine in my hubs from new using the retaining compound 603 (I think) I do it to keep the bearing tight and reduce the chances of the bearing working in the soft alloy hub holding it snug.

The hub I had machined was only $60 sleeved and done, still going today. If you have to buy a new hub spend the money and get a billet hub much stronger ;) There are some good deals on wheel sets going at the moment. I think as well Sutto’s had or are having a sale on wheel sets with billet hubs?

You can have the hub machined out LC and then have a steel sleeve pressed in to restore it to the orginal OD thus restoring the size and you can keep using standard size bearings

I have had it done, the last one Mick had machined for me in Wauchope, it was a rear and the machine shop had a lathe bed big enough so the wheel didnt have to be stripped.

Will find you some pictures if I can
