The cape trip will now include a night or two on Magnetic Island of Townsville. Just been doing some research and it will cost us $36 return to go over on the ferry with our bikes. We can camp on the beach and relax for a few days, drinks some beers :)

The route, it isnt set in stone but there are somethings I want to do

If you are wanting tyres from Sutto’s, Scott is doing CHEAP Michelins, and Pirellis and some Dunlops. You need to ring, pay and have it settled before 4pm this arvo as I am picking them up to deliver to Adam to take up this arvo. Adam is taking them and Nick’s bike up to Bulls.

They are cheap so its up to you

    Sutto’s number 47379566

Ouch. You may as well name and shame the brand  to alert your fellow OBTers or was it a case of the loose nut riding the bike too aggressive on the rear?

Yeah good idea Galey, I bought (I dont know why  ) a cheap set of ebay once. One wet ride stuffed the disc  Get what you pay for I guess

There is a rude with a few mates on from Brisbane this weekend but my bike is in Sydney and I don’t really have time (or the right tyres) to ride up.

Does anyone know of a reasonable transporter who could do it this week? All the google responses cant do anything until next week.

    Cheers,

    Greg

Throw a set of tyres on it yourself and slab away mate. That’s a bloody long way for a weekend ride, must be a cracker :woohoo:
Yeah don’t know anyone I can recommend or organise it in such short notice

    Good luck

Now then is the time to get braces, wish I had a set when I had good knees. Getting them after you root your knee is like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted ;)

    Sorry for the jack Beags

It is a gun track Yengo best part is Putty to Finchley but its all good. Crash and I had awesome run through it on the way home on the Old Bulls biggest weekend. I went nuts and got to the end on my own was special, the GPS had a top speed of 141kph when Crash and I tried to out pace one another in a section. Its also special to me because its the track that reminds me of Mal (RIP) we always talked about Yengo and then when Jacko and I did it going on dark the sunday evening before his funeral it was so Mal in the dark and running late :) Your lucky your so close Eags
