Don’t forget conference call 8pm tomorrow night Gaz has sent you all a PM.

    Agenda

    – Accommodation at Silverton
    – Rough (read) rough outline of the route
    – Sweep for a day and how that will work
    – Update on the sat phones from Gaz
    – Start time satuday at Silverton

How everyone gets to Silverton is their business, Deejay and I are leaving Thursday and staying somewhere so we can be in the Hill around lunch on Friday.

Mick I can only imagine is worried about weights after he has just welded the arse of the kato back on  :pinch:

Sutto told me last week “The 690 is a good adventure bike but they cant carry the weight we do adventure riding”

I will weigh mine maybe this week if I can get time and Lefty is available

    Hey there TB,
I don’t want to state the obvious there champ, but I will. As for your bash plate splitting along the LHS weld and after giving you a hand to lift the Tenere after a little incident. There is a bit of tonnage involved when it hits the ground eh! If you know what I mean………….

    Cheers,
    Left One

Hit the ground lefty?? Tell us more mate

It fell off the stand about 3 to 4 weeks ago when I had he forks out, just a tip to the side onto the wooden deck. I straightened it up onto the bash plate and left it there until I got the forks back. Lefty came around and helped me lift it onto the lift stand. I don’t know how you would know it weighs much Lefty cause we each had hold of the bars and I saw when I lifted it up your feet were of the ground and you were hanging like a dead weight   And I might add not happy about being up that high as the photo shows :P

Spent from sun up to sun down on my bike today.

    Fitted New

    Tyres
All wheel brgs and Cush drive brg
    New Cush rubbers
    Brake pads front and rear
    New gold chain
    New sprockets
    New tubes
    New grips
New head set brgs ( thanks Lefty for the vice, dremal and assistance )

I rewired all my electrical accessories, fitted my low front guard, found my radiator basically blocked externally, lubed the cables and unpacked the bike again.

Tomorrow I will change the oil and filter, double check everything and start on Deejays electrical accessories, chain, sprockets etc

Still the trailer wheel bearings to do as well :pinch:

    Results here

SB finished 20th out of 33 if I counted right just in front of Don Lark. Feel a bit sorry for Don, he is a long time supporter of all that is Condo bikes and events there. He was running real strong further up the field and had some sort of problem during the last day or day before I can’t remember exactly and dropped a fair few places. Thats racing I guess ;)

Hats off to those that entered and well done to all that finished, Good on you Damian Grabham about time you had a go show at this event
Interesting when you look at each brand results

    Honda 11 finished 3 DNF
    Husaberg 11 finished 2 DNF
    Yamaha 3 finished 2 DNF
    Husqvarna 1 finished 0 DNF
    Suzuki 0 finished 1 DNF
    KTM 6 finished 5 DNF

As a Berg rider it is good to see the brand was supported well and the bad reliablity tag the brand has carried looks to have gone

Yeah good on Damian :) what a nice guy great result for him. Not sure if one good event for Berg means that they are now all good but reckon it’s a start

Here his what first, second and third look like. First and second Honda mounted ( congratulations to GHR, Todd and Jacob) well done to Rod as well as I heard he rode the last four days with broken knuckles?

I reckon after Nicks dramas with sizes and not as importantly his not being able to make his mind up with the colour until he knew what I ordered first :P you are better driving the 20mins to his shop and trying them on Krusty. It wont make a difference on the price and you will be sure it fits ;) And if you are standing at Silverton with a jacket that doesnt fit as well as it could you maybe tempted to use it and regret it later
