Route is complete, I have sent a copy to Nick tonight. It will be a mystery tour for some at times and even early in the first day don’t panic we may seem to be going the wrong way but have a plan and want to ride a section ;)

It appears the elbow, shoulder and back armour is sold separately? Do they have any sort of protection that come with them or are they just the jacket?

Armour is extra, they are in stock I was there earlier this week ;)

Rec Rego will cost almost the same Boony so lets leave it out of this argument ;)

The area is question has had a few deaths in the previous few years be it from head ons, no helmets etc. The area needs a clean out, I have to agree with Crash. I have ridden there years ago, its out of control

    Honda 1 2 Beags :woohoo:

Here borrow from Troy at ADV a Safari Legend

“Cyril had a piece of metal go through his boot. He is in hospital at the moment. You could see a hole through his boot, which I got a picture of.
    Speaking to Roland, its over.
Spoke to Jake and Todd, who said it would have been dangerous to push today, since they have such a lead, they just consolidated.

Shane had a good day as did Rod. No issues.

Damien’s )(Grabham) leg is bandaged from his stick entry. Don’t know how he is still in it”

This afternoon Beag there will be NO ktms in the top ten it seems as Cyril has had a stick or something sharp puncture his boot and hurt his ankle. At Leonora hospital now…..

Mechanical as far as I can make out mate

Cyril is still an hour and a bit of the lead, but not that far off 3rd ;) especially since Diener`a Yamaha suffered a mechanical today and dropped his place. If one of the GHR bikes goes down or suffers mechanical problems it will be real interesting indeed

He most likely won`t push hard enough to make up the whole hour with Dakar looming, but I reckon he will give it a good shake :woohoo:

Two days to go yet and close to 800k or more !!!!!

Your dreaming Beags  Last stage yesterday Cyril was 11 mins slower than the Todd  Have you read Cyril’s blog the bloke should have a little cheese with his whine   He has more excuses than a married woman dodging sex :P
I see with interest that Matt Fish’s KTM has blown an engine, that now leaves 1 KTM (be it Cyril) in the top 10 and only 2 in the top 15 by day’s end if they are lucky :pinch:
Faggotter has a broken / knuckles he won’t be catching the GHR boys, and he has 35 mins on Cyril and if you read his blog he is worrying about riding in the rain and catching a cold

Great report Gav, it was bloody wet eh DeeJay and myself did nearly 450kms on Sunday including a new section near the Commission track, Yengo, a 16 km long wide single track out the back of Putty was well worth being a little wet for ;)
