All AORC stuff, being ride reports, up and coming event which is in doubt has gone legal again.
It has been moved here as some of Mick’s pictures including Merimens tyre change (not on an enviro-mat) bikes roosting the hill (making the track as per the DA) and wheel standing through the creek have been used against the organiser :pinch: Not Mick’s fault off course it’s just they have the pictures and twisting it against them without the the facts the go with that picture

Here in the Bullpit at least they need to be a member to see and we can watch who joins etc

Mick will be along soon to explain but we need to be careful what we say and do and who we run down and bag because it could be used against somebody as Lyn Braico so very carefully pointed out before.

Welcome to the ‘Who can stack the most quotes into a reply’ thread.

 I was going to say that having tight inners would be the answer to the bunching but I couldn’t bring myself to quote the quote again and then you posted the above :P

I was using some Thor brand gloves for a while but they stretched easily and bunched up in my hand.

sb250y put me onto the Fox Bomber gloves. They are a bit expensive but seem really strong and super comfy so far. I’ve had them for about 6 months now.

I’m currently using Fox Platinums, single layer palm minimises bunching & reducing blisters, they too are at the premium end of the glove scale. Although I managed to pick a couple of pairs up 60% of retail locally to be used on a small ride I’ve got coming up in the next couple of weeks

Small ride the australian safari eh? You might need more than one pair as you are riding a Honda ( more powerful than a WR :P ) I read your blurp on the GHR site

    Good luck

Nick learn to tuck your hands up when you crash mate  Gloves are a very personal thing I reckon best pair I have ever had were a pair of shift ones. SB is right about the bunching especially for long stints like the safari. Gloves are like helmets different shapes, wants, uses, expectations etc
I have a couple of pairs of thors they are ok, with so many new ones around and ones I like getting superseded it’s hard ti recommend
Will watch with interest as to what you buy and if you like them will get the same B) (unless they are like the trillion dollar goggles or the billion dollar ADV gloves  :P )

    Thread Hi jack

It’s a low key affair, I don’t need to sell myself to anyone.

Anyway I ride a WR that hasn’t ever needed a Mac Gyver moment & the rest of the stuff is B/S, I’ll just stick the the facts.

Their media man hasn’t posted my photo up yet either.

    On Topic

I’ve packed 4 pairs of Platinums, 2 pairs of Polar Paws for early morning transports & a pair of ADV gloves & 4 pairs kevlar liners (the reason behind wearing Platinums). Think I’ve got it all covered.

    Thread hi jack

It was your little hints on the site (tonights was the 2nd I spotted) that reminded me and started me looking at the GHR site. I reckoned it was the penguins hype that had done the media thing    On your 40th and a finish would be awesome. They are a few off us here that watch the safari with interest all days it’s on and having someone we know in it will be good. As you know I kept in touch with your bro at the condo as Crash and I like the big races. And they are the team to do it with I reckon bike brand aside being on the power of dreams is just a bonus

On topic as you put it ;)

You seem to have all your bases covered as far as the safari goes, are they the Ballards Kevlar inners? Do you find they bunch? I tried them years ago when I went to the Cape
