My take SB is if you post your picture
“For posting your picture, you get a complete Fork or Shock service for just $120.
Thats not just the labour, oil & gas, but everything; seals, bushes, and any other parts needed to get your forks or shock back in shape”So a complete Fork or Shock service for just $120. and not just the labour, but oil & gas, everything; seals, bushes, and any other parts needed to get your forks or shock back in shape.
That’s my take, maybe Evil Rudy can sort it. I had this discussion with Krusty when he dropped his wheels off for me to build, he thought it was everybody gets a free $120 service for just posting their picture. But no I am sure it’s $120 for it all after posting, I could be wrong but I don’t think so.
Everyone that does post a picture goes in the draw for the 1500 buck overhaul

Check this out,
Dean Nuttall completed the course in 7 days (14 are allowed for the route)
7,347klms in a moving time of 80hrs 40 mins
avg speed 91 kphNow that is hooting all the way,,,
I might add that Dean is a top 10 rider in the likes of Erzbergs, Romaniacs, Aus Safari and heading for Dakar 2012
Still a big effort I think
A huge effort Beags but a 91 kph average and the course finished in half the time I think makes a mockery of claims of how tough it was going to be. Yes I know how talented Dean is but that’s an incredible average speed eh. People driving the freeway to Brisbane won’t have a 91kph average  That said even dirt freeways if there was such a thing 91 for 7k is quick
Next years course will be the same route in reverse, I would love to know how much bitumen ended up in the 7k

OK Scotty I understand, I see some XR600 guys coat the splines with salastic as well

From memory many years ago you have to pull the swingarm off, if its a genuine one.

Yeah great points Mal, I like the idea of the chest mount, but also the goggles is a ripper and the footage is good. I think the Go Pro travels easier when not in use thrown in the camelback. That said I carry two pairs of googles so it’s no difference I guess
I like them Nick, the rechargeable battery is a bonus as my go pro eats batteries :pinch:

I want to do it on the Tenere as I have on the XR but it’s a bloody big bike that Tenere and am nervous somewhat

Have you seen it in the flesh?
The list above is meant in no disrespect to any of the names mentioned bar Ollie and his excuses

Ignore my big melon in the scene and enjoy Corey make the widow maker look easy………. which its not !!!Awesome footage well done Corey will use it for detailed study for my Tenere attempt, but one question why didn’t the pea hearted owner of the goggles do it twice?? Can I smell the fear

Nickj wrote:Just as a comparison , what’s a GoPro worth ?Ummm not sure cause I was given mine for building the project DR400  . I don’t know if you can dollar compare them as one is a camera and one is goggles and a camera and seem a good pair of goggles in their own right.
If you need goggles and a camera your in front, if you are like me and have 8 pair of googles in good nick well your behind
It is for me comparing apples and oranges
