After a nasty off at the last Hamton ride,Im pretty much just geting back into it,,,still riding the old RMX,,but not up to speed for a two day ride,and not on this bike. I’v got a good 4by that I could get out there in, but it’s a wagon set up for touring,and not much space for carrying gear,other wise I would have put my hand up for a suport vehicle just to help out and to be there.
So I’l just have to settle for the ride report and pics.
So I wish everone a safe ride and a great weekend,,,,have a blast.
Cheers Teza.Tezza if you wish to come up for the nights festivities you are welcome mate, the new camp site is very easy to get to and find. If you have a tow bar I have a trailer at Blaxland where you will drive through to get there that you could tow up with the prizes and generator etc in it would be a big help. just drop it of on the way back, no need for an early start just grab it on you way up mid morning, interested :blush: :whistle: :laugh:

Jim wrote:exellent review TB, just wondering if you have tried the Michelin T63 tyres? Also have you installed the Kev fuel mod, and if so has it made much of a difference to performance? I have put the mod in my XT and cant really tell if it has made many difference – though I have had great advice from Kev.Cheers Jim
I have fitted the Kev Mod Jim yes. It does make a difference from the bottom to the midrange, Nickj and I have run our two Teneres side by side (mine heavier because I am fat :laugh: ) and mine really does have a stroger bottom and end. The other thing we both noticed when riding with the Kev mod is the snatcheness (word :blink: ) off the bottom with the throttle is gone or greatly reduced.
T63 Michelins are something I tried to get ages ago and was told (wrongly :angry: ) they werent made in a 17inch anymore, I found out when Moose fronted the High Country ride with one on they are . Scott at Sutto’s confirmed this later. I will be giving them a try but I have all my adventure tyres sorted for the rest of this year :blink:

I’m sharing a tent and esky, have a self inflating mattress and sleeping bag that i’ll roll into a big fat doogie. Should be similar size to a swag. That should be ok yeah?Good question there Axel.
The old man and i will be sharing a tent and an esky, have a sleeping bag each and a small bag each for our cloths. is this ok. what is considered to much?
To answer both your questions the below quote is taken from the first post
“With so many people going can we just use a little common sense when packing please. Each person we have worked out should only need;
1 X 20 litre jerry can
A folding chair
Back pack with over night clothes
Swag or tent
Esky with food and drink, be best if you can buddy up with a mate as far as the esky goes
Please bring cans instead of bottles if possible.Thats it really you don’t need anything else. There are close to or more than 60 people going we need to move all the gear. No gear bags ( to big ) as you can wear the same riding gear both days. If you wish to argue with Tiny that your bag isn’t to big, good luck”
I think both yours and AL,s setup is more then fine and as is yours Axel
as my mate always says “it’s all gravy” :laugh:It is all in the first post
