Bruce how did your rego more than double mate? You are comparing QLD to NSW rego aren’t you to be correct? We need to compare apples and apples. Rego costs in NSW hasn’t changed bugger all if at all. Mine has always been around the 109 mark the green slip is the thing that changes and costs the most

Both my rego’ed bikes are over 650cc and are city not country, I would think yours are country classified which is cheaper. Mine are under 430 bucks rego and green slip. Maybe you need to shop around? It just seems excessive

You are the man Murph well done mate

First point I don’t care what you use just be aware is all

Second point that stuff is crap it’s easy sure but it doesn’t get through the filter and runs out mate.
We had our air cleaners done on the 3 states trip at Canberra as you may know. Ask Moose, Boulder or Nickj about how good spray oil is mate? Those air cleaners were in less than 6 days  guess what yes spray oil used Nick knows the brand I think.
Ask Gaz we found his filter oil lubing his chain  Wasn’t over oiled just running down through the filter and out the air box drain not Gaz’s fault just the oil wouldn’t stay in the filterI will do an air filter test using three different oils, I will oil three filters and hang them up and will video the filters after two days and a week to see what happens

Ha ha I was letting it slide cause it was a newbie mistake that I am sure won’t happen again
There is a bum bag thread being worked on at the minute for the adventure riding forum but I will double it up in the prep thread
TB
Well I rode with Chris and his euro trash finished the day unassisted so thats him ruled out
Mal5.1 has a euro trash museum as such but he worked the night before I think so he wouldn’t have been riding, scratch him

STM, Mick and I are way to smart to own euro trash
Part time moderators include Nickj (no euro trash), Tiny he has a husky that’s euro trash but in true euro trash form it’s off the road anyway that him out. Hatto looks after the ride date forum so he is a moderator as such it could be him? There is another moderator is it him??
TB
Maybe this thread should be in the euro trash forum as it was euro trash that broke down
Thank god and XR was around to save the day

mal5.1 wrote:Sounds good TB.Let me know which hills you included so we don’t double up and do them both days. We can always go down the ones you takes us up.
Medogrocket and I will pull our fingers out and get a route sorted in the next couple of weeks.
Heavy duty tubes are the go. I think I have a Kenda tube and run about 10 – 12 psi and no rear flat for the last 2 years. I have a mousse tube in the front and will have one on the rear by the birthday ride.
Yetholme is a bit slow atm. Did find anything on the menu without cury in it.
I will give you a yell in the next couple of days mate and give you my route
Yetholme was fine the newbie with no tools wasn’t  We all live and learn so no bad
I know where mousses are on special if you haven’t sorted one yet, I got a new one last week

Will talk soon thanks Mal
