Ballards have been selling them in 21 and 19 for maybe two years? At least 18 months, the benefit as I see it would be reduced un sprung mass, hence the 19 for the motocross guys bouncing through the whoops. I asked around if any of the enduro guns were using them and some had tested but liked the extra protection a mouse tube gives.
Ollie and maybe Mal5.1 have been looking into them I think  My only question is the integrity of a tyre being used as tubeless when its not designed as a tubeless tyre.
I wish someone would try one that I know so I can see how they go
Kram runs a mouse tube Strucky
NO SUPPORT VEHICLE THIS YEAR

Yeah I could be wrong Menace won’t be the last time  You are right of course the reasons people bikes are many and varied I only offered one that I know the bike companies do racing for, marketing and yes a better product results from the racing as well
I don’t know why they stopped making WRs, RMXs etc I think it’s like Blue said and some emission requirements I know it’s affected what we do at Cummins.
Having owned two big bore two strokes I reckon they rock and again the only bike I would swap my beloved XR up front for without blinking is a rego CR500 I have said that for years now

To explain that better I guess not many people could say heart on hand that they wouldn’t get on board in business for big bucks Bruce really I mean it’s a living. We don’t live in a perfect world.
Who makes a bike that they have designed to consume short term consumables for short term profit? No one I can think of bar maybe pit bikes or the likes. Anyone that makes a shitter doesn’t sell because of word of mouth. Most people buy a new bike now days get a decent run out of it from new, is a bike designed to go a second and third owner trouble free?
The guy that makes chain gang sprockets explained he closed because he makes too good a product, his sprockets outlast the cheap sprockets at least 4 to 1 (at least) but his sprockets are twice as expensive. People won’t buy then even though they will happly buy 4 off the cheap ones over the life of them owning the bike. Thus that just cost them twice as much, not including extra chains etc. The other side to the better sprocket is that he only sells one to the guy per bike per owners life as most people only do 1 to 2 thousand a year and keep the bike for 3 to 4 years. One sale that’s it for making a better product. The owner of chain gang told me that himself because I was there and asked why they were closing, the above was the reason, them making a better product was putting them out of business
I don’t have any answers, I do know I liked the simplicity of rebuilding my two strokes in years gone by. I won’t own a high revving fast wearing small bore four stroke so I don’t know
Just my thoughts and 1 cents worth
Glad your back Bruce enjoy the thought process mate

Well Bruce you would be a better person than 99% of the population history proves that.

Mr Blue wrote:like the man says, when the market (Us) start demanding stuff, then and only then will the manufacturers listen, if we don’t they will push us down the path THEY want us to head for the best return on their investment, which at the moment is high maintenance, return business 4Ts. I liken the new Jap 4Ts to the good old cheap printer deals, buy the printer for next to nothing, they make the dollars out of the consumables…..I agree with everything you wrote Bruce 100%, but I ask you this question if you were in their business of making bikes and making money (cause without making money you dont make bikes
) wouldnt you and I be doing the same? Because bottom line they are in business and smart business is controling the market and making a demand and then supplying the demand. They made the YZ400 and WR400 the put high profile riders on them in the biggest stage where the world was watching and kicked arse, the market lapped it up and it started with that didnt it? Everybody wanted what won on Sunday and they wanted it on Monday thus created the demand. KTM very much uses that marketing tool with the Tady’s, Knights etc, its good business.
I hope the two stroke comes back bigger than ever, I am considering still buying a smoker for the single trail side of my riding. What will happen and when, who knows
