That’s looking real good Boulder, get a couple of little test rides outa the way this year, like the 8 days of High Country and eastern NSW and of course Camerons or bust ride. Then next years mother of all adventure rides.

If the same jets were used when it was stripped and cleaned and put back together and it didnt do it before your on the right track it needs to be adjusted richer as that is was the choke does.

When we did the project Dr400 we fitted an adjustable mixture screw which means you need to pull the bottom of the bowl of and drill a hole to fit the adjustable jet. Worth its weight in gold The jet then sticks out the bottom of the bowl recess and can be adjusted with your fingers as anytime with ease

Was the clip put back on the needle in the same spot? That said it sounds like the mixture as the same pilot jet would have been refitted :blink:

Aren’t doing the section where Kram broke his write, two reasons

1) STM is still to freaked out and could flip out and kill us all :laugh:

2) I have taken two groups through that track and had two broken wrists within 300 metres of one another and is a no brainer section of railway service track (no offence Chop Chop and Kram) it’s cursed in group form and not going there again

The Tenere had to be dropped off as they have requested it for the week to strip the shock and forks. What has happened is we have worked on the setup on and off for a ywhile and its soooo good now that they want to measure all the shim stacks etc so the can replicate it for other Tenere riders

So got to spend the day in the garage working on the CRF…. I was pleased with myself… did oil change and replaced rear & front brakes and only had to “phone a friend” once … thanks TB….. on quick question about the piston’s on front brake…

No problems with the phone a friend always happy to help, I am going to (yes I have been saying that for a while but I will) do some more DIY videos and brake pad changes will be high on the list. I was hoping others would throw in some of their DIY videos to help others :blink:
